At toe height, the ram is folded all the way down, and the top platform is 8 inches high A 3/4" diameter. The toe height is 5 inches if the ram is all the way up It has a bottom platform of 13-3/4" and a top platform of 3/8" A 5/8" diameter.
The speed jack I use has lifted a 3000 pound lathe several times with the heavy end of the tool attached, so I am not sure how much a shipping container weighs.
While I don't know if it is made in China, I have moved my 2000 lb milling machine four times as well as my 3000 lb lathe three times with it without a problem. As far as value for money is concerned, I think it's excellent. Having said that, I don't know how well it would hold up to daily wear and tear. The machine might be overkill for a business that requires machine moving, but if you're just looking for something to keep in your shop occasionally, then it's perfect. My computer is still in excellent condition, so I fully expect many more years of service from it.
It measures 2 1/4" x 2" and the toe goes under the object being lifted by 2 1/4 inches.

I waited a long time for it to work (could this be contributing to There is no need to replace it since it still works, but it is a little inconvenient. Seals will not be able to prevent the leak from traveling all the way down, so the springs need to override them. The foot pads for the mill needed to be made before I could install them, and the installation would need to be blocked to prevent a blowout from amputating the fingers. A completely different experience from what I expected. Although my old jacks have not started leaking yet, my new ones are not this old. A 40-year-old jack that is still operating properly after all these years. The following edits have been made to Version The product is still under warranty, so I reached out to Temco. A delivery date was given for parts and instructions to be shipped. Would be glad to provide advice.
They work when they're supposed to! There are only 2 of the 7 still operating! There is a leak in the Seals! video below
Tried to get repair kits or replacement parts from TEMCO for more than a week and have not heard anything! I have spoken with Drew from Temco several times and he promised to contact me, but never returned any calls or emails. Neither Drew nor his email addresses are returned!.
This is a heavy-duty machine. Toe jacks are in demand these days, so grab this one. Changing the location of the leveling feet on my Southbend has been a necessity for the last four It was not worth the effort to do so. It took me 10 minutes to get it done with the jack. Lifting of any questionable nature is prohibited. A piece of pie is as easy as It has been on my to-do list for quite some time to remove my Bridgeport from its moving wheels. Up until the arrival of this tool, there was no easy way to do it. In about 15 minutes, it will be on its This heavy-duty unit is made of steel. They are well built. There is only one piece in the handle, none of these have three tubes jointed together to create shaky levers. This has a solid feel to it. My impression is that the wall thickness of this lever is better than most other jacks I've seen, so its cuts for opening and closing are exceptionally strong. There is nothing else to say other than this is great. The only thing I wish I had done sooner was to invest in it. and it was in the hands of the shipper the day after I ordered it. A great customer service experience.
I'm on my hands and knees. A shed I own is 10 x 16 with a loft on the second floor. It's loaded from top to bottom with all of During shipping, one front corner of the doors settled a bit, causing them to be out of level. Thanks to this jack, we were able to lift the corner to the right height to place some more rock under it. Now you can level your shed This is an excellent book. The first option I thought about was buying off an auction site, but after talking to people and reading reviews, I realized it was not a good idea. With a 5 year warranty, Temco is a reputable brand. Built solidly and like a tank, this unit is a real powerhouse. I am extremely pleased with how well it is packaged.
To replace the toe jack I returned another one that was a hot mess from another manufacturer. I bought this one instead. There is a colossal difference between the two. I don't think I've seen an import tool that's as tightly packed and protected as this one. In addition to the box being strong and intact, the jack also appeared to be in good condition. The foam packing material is custom cut to fit the package, protecting it from damage. Using the tool itself is easy, and it lowers smoothly, too. With a rubber grip, the one-armed bandit will stay in place It is easy to use since it has a piece handle. When lowering a heavy load, the lowering valve is set up at a slight upward angle, which makes it easy for the operator to reach the handle. When I've used other jacks, they are set at a level so you are banging your knuckles on the ground when operating them.
This jack was almost a year old when I bought it, and I've used it to pick up my entire machine shop one machine at a time to install The product hasn't caused me any problems so far, no leaks, no problems with lifting anything I've used it for. Despite being minor, in a tight spot it can be a bit of a hassle. It's important to keep that in mind as you set up a job, because I don't believe there's a lot of other jacks with that capability. I had to confine myself to a fairly small basement, so I don't have as crowded a shop as you do.
While I am not sure if these jacks are American made, I know they are of excellent quality and durability. In addition to their 5-year warranty, TEMCo really stands by their product. You cannot find any other company that allows you to use their product for a full year and then return it for a refund just as long as you do so within that period! Honesty, I must say My usual need for a toe jack is not for single projects, but I needed one for a single job, so I ordered one. When it arrived, I contemplated returning it, but once I saw the quality of not only the jack, but even the UPS proof packaging, I decided it was more than just a purchase - I had found something I liked. Investing in this project was a smart move. One of those things you're glad you have when you need.
Jacks like this one are fantastic. There is no doubt about its quality, and its compact size appeals to me. I found the packaging to be excellent (to the point of being difficult to open. these (I purchased two) were not in danger of being Additionally, this seller (TEMCo) requires a signature for delivery, which is one of the reasons it was an inconvenience for me to receive this order. A few days ago, that would have been the only place I would have ordered from.
