Are there any specific dimensions for the rectangle within which the jack would be located?

There is an 8-inch extension so that the base can be accessed from both sides of the 6 3/4 inch base

Can a bottle jack be used in conjunction with the jack base?

Surely the bottle jack will fit inside the rig of the ARB base as long as the base of the jack fits inside the base.

The rectangle that anchors the metal jack inside has an inside diameter of about 3 inches. ?
