It was clear from the photos that the jack had a handle. In my initial evaluation of the jack, I noted that there was no handle. There was no mention of the handle being an accessory in the description, as I read it multiple times. A representative from Ellis Manufacturing answered my call and said, "Oh there is no handle included. ". In response to my complaint, I noticed that they changed the picture of their item and that the handle was missing. Unfortunately, they did not send a handle with the order, but suggested that I Their response really disappointed me and I felt that they had completely misrepresented their product. The next Ellis product I purchase will not be from Ellis.
When I initially purchased a set of Jack-and-Jills, it was We used posts from Home Depot to raise a section of our home that was falling because our house was settling (a hundred year old house). In this episode, Jack and the A post is not made to handle the weight of this type of work and is not intended with this type of workload. There are, however, three main Ellis Steel Shores to explore The top and bottom plates on the bodies are welded to make them very sturdy. It has a massive screw portion that runs on bearings, and continues to function even under extremely high loads. My products from Ellis Mfgrg are very sturdy, very well-built, and extremely adjustable, so I will happily buy more from them in the future. There is only one thing to be aware of, the shores do not come with handles as shown in the image. The collar, in fact, has four holes, all at 90-degree locations, 1" in diameter. A steel pipe section of 1" OD can be inserted (something that can be found at any hardware store) to make the lever arm. A fantastic product, I am very happy with it.
As we were working on an open concept area, we used this product to provide additional support.
The power of this is incredible.
As described, the item is in good condition. My first one was out of stock, so I immediately ordered another one! This would be a great tool for anyone lifting a heavy load.
Things like this get the job done Lifting and holding is what they do. The money they spent was well spent. In addition to this, the base plate is heavy enough to support the heavy 8" base when the unit is being jack-stopped or stood. Instead of shoring posts, then lifting the jack, then tightening the shoring post, and repeating with shoring posts, this saves a lot of time. I think this is a better way to do both. I have a problem The turning is at the end of the road In other words, a tool. If lifting a heavy, but under-sized weight, it is necessary to use pipe or rod sufficient not to bend It is recommended that cap load is used.
It's awesome. As if my house wasn't there at all. I tried all the other Jack's, but they didn't move.
