I have nothing to complain about. There were some wedges that needed to be replaced Under my bungalow, I am going to put these with 4x4s under sagging beams. At each footing location, I first inserted a solid concrete block and set the feet in place by making sure that each footing was at a point where a beam crossed a joist. It worked like a charm! Now that the floors are relatively level and solid, they have become much more durable.
As it is being installed, it consists of four moving parts that have to be held together. It was a tight space, with barely enough room for both my hands to move. As soon as it is installed, it is extremely strong.
The shelf of my AV Receiver is starting to bend under the weight of 45 pounds. I could only put the receiver there because where the cables come out there is where the receiver goes. Despite being black and a low profile, it is not overly noticeable. If you need to make adjustments after it's all in place and hand tight, you will need a crescent wrench.
I have found it to be very useful.
The set comes in four pieces, so assembling it is easy. By extending the screw jack with a 19mm wrench, you'll discover that it's very sturdy once you apply some pressure to it.
This product has been used for more floor support in a crawlspace. It has done the job well.
For what I bought it for, it worked great, but I had to do some supergluing to keep it together.
Despite the fact that the bottom plate still needed to be welded, they worked fine.
