In the first place, the crate of the unit was completely destroyed when it was delivered. Despite the plywood being only 1/8" thick, it was held together only by four plastic bandings. Since the Fedex driver and I could not unload it from the truck in its condition, we cut the bands and separated it by hand. All of the parts made it, but the instructions didn't. Although the unit is fairly easy to assemble, it would be nice to have someone assist you with standing it after assembly is complete. My unit is well built, and I'm confident I'll be able to use it for a long time. Let me now tell you why only four stars are earned. In my shop, I raised my unit to the height of the ceiling once it was all built and ready for use. On the first side, the cable winch worked fine. I raised it up one notch and went to the second side and did the same thing. About four turns turn the handle on the other side and it locks. My first check was to see if there were any obvious problems. In the end, the only solution was to return the unit after two failed attempts to contact the seller. To solve a minor problem in such a radical way would be pretty radical indeed. In order to replace the winch, four bolts and two cable clamps need to be removed. This is a much easier concept than disassembling and shipping for several hours! For now, I intend to keep the unit and do the repairs A brief update After I left this review, I received an email from a different representative asking for the location of the broken part. She worked hard to get me a schematic and then the correct part. It took about 15 minutes to install the part and the whole process was hassle-free! Kristen Zubor, thanks so much!.

My new garage has a ceiling height of 10 feet so I bought this crane. There is a crane standing about 7 feet high. When set at its lowest level, it is 5 feet high. Getting a crane would only make it easier for me to work on my ATVs, lawn tractors, trucks, trailers, and lawnmowers. I hate using ramps and jack stands since they get in every Instead, I can now lift the entire unit if I want, which gives me a lot more room on which to work on the underside of the ATVs and lawn tractors. In the instructions, the diagram identifying parts has a few mistakes, but it's not really that big of a problem. Assemblies are described in the same manner in the written instructions. We just want to alert you that you will probably need a few friends for the crane's vertical placement. As a support, I used the rafters in my garage and hooked up the chain block. Is easy to move around on concrete floors. My order arrived in August 2019, but I didn't put it together until It was a pleasure to deal with the parts, everything was in working order. Chain block and trolley came separately, they were installed, and everything seems to be working fine. To me, this looks good as well.

Is it possible I have gone all this time There is no doubt this machine is big and does take up some floor space, but it is sure useful for handling larger, heavier tasks. Definitely a back saver, and now I don't have to wait for my buddies and instead I can just relax with them, because they won't have to do the work! A 1200 pound electric hoist is one of the two hoists I purchased. I have a small manual hoist for the smaller jobs as well as a manual 2 ton hoist for larger services or if I need a lift stabilized. After I had assembled my crane, my biggest challenge was lifting it by myself, so I had to tether the base to a tree and wrap a heavy strap around the beam and hook it to the bumper of my truck and slowly idle forward, so my crane would be erected! This is an excellent product that is well built and sure to be useful. I'm grateful to Titan for his help.

Maybe Amazon did not specify the dimensions clearly, or else I did not understand the text. In fact, the gantry is too wide for the deck of my 14' single-story farmhouse Vehicles with axles on their trailers. Any items I wish to take off the trailer will have to be slid to the back of the trailer with this gantry. I would say it's perhaps one There is a 2" gap between the two pieces. It is likely that I will get a new ID You may need to use a beam that is a little longer to make this

Before you purchase this product, make sure you measure what you're wanting to use it for carefully. Except for that, the gantry is fine, except that it is quite heavy for you to construct it all managed to lift it onto the wheels, but it weighed a lot. I needed my neighbor to help me push it. A set of larger wheels makes it quite easy to roll. Although I would not recommend it, I have been able to maneuver it around with a 2400lb knee mill hanging from it slowly and carefully. A two-person job is required to raise and lower the cross bar. My original expectation was to be able to slide it up one side then the other, but that does not happen. It would be a good idea to figure out where to store this. Creating a lifting platform definitely makes moving and lifting heavy items in the shop a lot easier.

How bad would it be for them to print better assembly instructions? It is not for someone who has difficulty putting furniture together, I gave up on step 6 and had to look at Amazon pictures of how the furniture fit together. Since the support tubes were not clearly marked as to what bolt goes where, I had to swap out bolts from support tubes. FYI, the bolts that connect the header to the posts are not the large diameter bolts that one would expect. It's the bolts that attach the support tube to the wall.

There was almost no need to return The price you pay is the quality you get. I found this to be like an inexpensive gantry crane, with a weight capacity of 1000 pounds. There were some of the worst welding jobs I've seen in my life. There are a few major dings on the bean, so I need to file them If the rollers are hindered, the machine will malfunction. Light duty. This is for light Nevertheless, I would never fill it all the way to the brim. All in all, I am satisfied with my experience. However, Titan needs to train its welders on how to perform welding.

The good news is that it IS possible to perform it There is excellent finish to this gantry crane and it can be adjusted. My experience with it was excellent, since I was able to move heavy shop equipment that would have been impossible without the cart. This crane was found on the web after a week-long search and after multiple over-the-top prices were compared On the whole, I am satisfied with my order.
