Questions & Answers

Is the pitch of the screw pin on the shackle for a 2 ton screw pin the same as the thread pitch?

The 5/8-inch size fits loosely

The landfill wants to hook up a shackle to trailers that can carry 100,000 pounds each. The purpose is only to drag it out of mud when it gets It's the 1 Three and a half ought to be fine, shouldn't it?

Having described the shackle, we now determine its size I think you should be able to make do with 1 3/8 depending on how bad you are stuck.

When measuring the pin diameter for a 7/16 shackle, what diameter should you use?

With the 1/2" shackle, I got the 9/16 pin, and the 2Ton has a 1/2" shackle. The 620 was cheaper than the 7/16 shackle, and I also bought the 3/8 shackle with 2200 lbs. The pin is 7/16 size.

Why are these shackles made in that place?

The Chinese mainland.

How do I counterfit a product? It is a yellow pin, not a copper one Description implies that this item was made in Canada, but it was actually made in China
3/5

Titan is not up to standards when it comes to quality. This is likely a counterfeit product. You have been warned.

Having a sling on a 12 ton truck is a great feature
5/5

You can use an AMH Sling with a 4 inch, 2 ply polyester fabric. As soon as I place the sling into basket configuration, the sling weight capacity is 24K. It weighs 26,400 lbs for the anchor shackle on the Titan Bow anchor of 12 tons. It is estimated that my load will not exceed 4 to 8 tons.

It was listed in the description that Canada Metal was the manufacturer
3/5

Canada Metal Pacific Limited was listed as the manufacturer in the description. A Chinese product was delivered to me. The vehicles would have been used for vehicle recovery, but I prefer to use Chinese products when it comes to safety equipment. In addition, the screw pin turned out to be yellow, not black as shown in photo. We are going through shrockworks to place the order. The reality doesn't match the description in the picture
3/5

In line with similar comments from other reviewers, the color of the shackle pin does not match the picture. Its manufacturer is listed as a Canadian one, but this means nothing to us Manufacturers in China produce it. A lack of finish and fit should be addressed. The decision to keep them is still up in the air.

A third of an inch, not a half
3/5

Although the add states 1/2 inch bow shackle, what I, received was probably 3/16 inch bow shackle, which makes it a false advertisement or bad advertisement. The shackle that I, received might be able to securely hold a picture frame?.

In the beginning, I bought a 1/2" shackle from a home improvement store but was not happy with the size
5/5

I shopped around for a shackle that wasn't too expensive and ended up purchasing As it was only for an ATV, I originally purchased a 1/2" shackle from a local home improvement warehouse, but it was unsatisfactory because it wasn't the right size, fit, or Yes, this one is twice as much, but it feels like a much higher quality item and you will have it for a lifetime. I feel very satisfied with it since it only costs under $12.
