In a nutshell, My winch mount is tightly strapped to a tree so that with the assistance of pulleys mounted to other trees, I am able to rip trees up from Eight of these are in my possession Since I have been using this setup I have not encountered any issues.

I used the loop to connect straps to pull down trees, which was overkill for that, but I wanted the large loop for easier attachment of straps. complaint is that the threads had some rust on them, so I had to use tools to take apart, wire brush, and oil up, not a real issue, but if they are stored for too long before use it may prove to be a problem. It is important to open the package when you receive it and clean and oil it so that it is ready to go when you need it. In fact, I used it to pull a plow truck out of the ditch, and the paint even remained on the truck.

Right now, these appear to be the best compromise between quality and price available on Amazon for 3/4" shackles. I haven't yet tested the snatching and recovery kits I bought for each of my cars because I am just outfitting them. This is a very heavy and substantial item. The 777 engine fan blades are also in good shape until just before a failed one occurs.

As I adapt my farm jack to pull brush and roots, I have to make rigs to fit. It looks like the craftsmanship and paint are It fits the jack tongue and can be used to connect smaller shackles by sliding them It is a good product for the price. It is used on farms.

A snatch block was added to a chain around a tree so that I could haul firewood with a winch when I got these too quickly. I enjoyed it a lot. The construction is good, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

So it wouldn't get lost in grass or mud because it would be brighter in color. This is a very tight bolt, so you might need to use pliers or not screw in too tight.
