The safety and existence of the purchasers depends on these types of products. The picture in the picture isn't what I saw. * Note 2. There is a major problem with dimensions (all of them). 1. 2. 3. It makes no difference how thick the bolt supports are. The thickness varies by over 1/16". You're looking at the area where the most loads occur!.
It is of great quality.
I like it the most.
Shackles made by Crosby are probably one of the best products available. Despite their website stating that they are twice as strong as their stated limit, they've been unable to do so. Although some other reviews wrote that they were worn and beat up looking, I chose to purchase two hoping that they would turn out ok. There is a problem in that what you see pictured (shiny, new) is not exactly what you receive. I have been working in this field for five years. Trust me when I tell you that while it looks like it's shiny, it isn't, and it is only because a worse one is next to it. Furthermore, I ordered a pair of Rugged Ridge shackles that are similar to the ones in the Crosby photos, and they are also new and look exactly like the Crosby ones. The price of these, even when they are described as like new, is outrageous. They wouldn't even pass for gently used or like new, let alone full price.
You can use them with confidence since they are made in the USA, have a good price, and have a great design! These are used in industrial machine repair and have a significant impact on my safety.
