There are five of the wire rope clamps in this package. They can clamp cables up to 1/2 inch in diameter.

Water-based products are these okay to use?

Using it in water is not recommended, as it is prone to rust and may affect its use.

I want to wrap 1/4 cable wire with rope clips. What size should I choose?

If you need to clamp more than 2 pieces of wire, go with a larger size to accommodate the thickness. I used 1/4" clips for 1/4" wire, but you can use larger ones for thicker wire. comes with a screw that ensures it will tighten to your specifications, so you won't have to purchase additional units if you plan on adding additional lines.

What if I wanted to hang clothes on this?

It is exactly for that application that I used the clamps. I love the way they work.

Product is ok, but it stretches when pulled, so when I used it as a draw string for a pergola canopy, it became difficult to pull because it stretched

We used it to hang a sun shade that was not shipped with hanging (No stock on the one that comes with hardware, but it is inferior quality. it's been holding the nylon cord nicely. Really large The thinner would have been easier to find if I had known about it earlier.

The measurement is 1/2 inch, not In between the two legs of the U is the inside measurement Five sixteenths of an inch is a good bolt size

A 1/2 inch hex socket is required to fit the nuts. In the past, I've had 1/4" clamps (not made in China) and they measure 1/4" between legs and have 5/16" hex nuts. It was great to receive my money back from Amazon. Thank you.
