If you need to clamp more than 2 pieces of wire, go with a larger size to accommodate the thickness. I used 1/4" clips for 1/4" wire, but you can use larger ones for thicker wire. comes with a screw that ensures it will tighten to your specifications, so you won't have to purchase additional units if you plan on adding additional lines.
It is exactly for that application that I used the clamps. I love the way they work.
