We had this hoist for two years. It failed after 2 years of medium use, the clutch on the inside seized up and repair parts were almost as expensive as purchasing your own.
There is no way that I can tell you. The hoist does not say anything about it and I don't have the box where it was packaged. In my forklift repair shop, I have found this unit to have a great deal of potential.
In a construction environment, I bought one of each, and they lasted about a year. There is a drop down which gives you an option to choose either 1 or 2 tons.
junk, and shipping it will be so expensive that a warranty doesn't make any sense. It was at least feasible to salvage the lifting chain. Despite buying five, all of them were problematic.

It came out of the box jammed and unable to be used. Here is a comparison of the price differences.
Oil is smeared on the chains. There was some denting on the metal of the hoist I tried to use it, but the chain would not move. Instead of trying to fix it, I wanted to save my time. On the same day, I received a response.
It fell apart after only two hours of use. People at the manufacturer said to contact them. There is no manufacturer website to be found.
This item was received quickly and very Pull chains could have additionally been placed around the gear grove and secured with zip ties to keep them in place so they wouldn't come off and be trapped between gears and covers. Moreover, the pull chain has a number of links that are not welded closed and I am concerned that they might fail if a heavy load is lifted. These can be welded, but I wouldn't be forced to do so if they had a good quality assurance Having the links welded will allow me to use it right after. Having no doubt it will work to my satisfaction.
There is a lot of weight on it. It is perfect if you drop a large animal that is too heavy We hung the carcasses using this tether and were then able to drag them into the buildings. The product is easy to use, durable, and still works well after being pulled in an oblique direction.
My hand was cut when I first used it to move a small mill, weighing about 450 pounds around, for the first time.
My company purchased two of these and used them on a number of I like it a lot. If the chain gets jammed up inside, you may need to take them apart when you first get them since they might be delivered jammed.
It's a moderately quality hoist suitable for home shops and sporadic usage. My involvement with it is due to the fact that I acquired a generator that weighed over 400lbs and I did not have a way to carry it off my pickup truck. The generator could be removed and lowered using a dolly after I built a simple 2x6 cross beam and used it to lift the hoist. This was the only time I have used it, and it worked well. Now I am prepared in case there were any other heavy items to be obtained.
