Though I have not used this hand truck yet, it has a sturdy feel to it. I am not a welding expert, so I cannot comment on the quality of welding points. Kraft paper wrapped the box, and none of the contents were damaged. To handle just about any terrain, I love having the solid rubber tires over the air filled or plastic wheels. My daughter is going to use this to make her transition into her new college residence. There will be no large refrigerators that I have to move, but I believe it will handle a mini fridge, microwave oven, and containers full of clothing and other accessories, as well as boxes of books and personal items. A length of 46" is measured from the lower edge of the toe plate to top of the handle bar. For me, it appears to be a healthy height. Five and a half feet and eleven inches tall. I have found this to be a great tool to add to my gardening toolbox. Moving heavy pots and soil bags is easy with this device. I found it easy to move it up and down the deck stairs since the wheels are large and sturdy.
In order to replace a few appliances in my house this truck was very easy to maneuver when moving the old appliances out and the new ones in. A pneumatic wheel with a larger diameter would make it even better over rough surfaces, but solid tires work just fine. My fridge was previously replaced and I had it dropped into my home, and the sliders were used. I'm not sure what it would do for a fridge. Although this truck is well constructed, it may not be long enough to handle a large fridge, which would be better handled with a hand truck designated to move appliances.
It was this handtruck that saved the day when I had problems with the dollies. Although it would have been nicer if the tires were a bit larger or if it was able to go up the stairs more smoothly, those slight shortcomings made moving a bit more enjoyable.
