Product Description

Several blocks of strong neodymium block magnets are embedded in a steel channel to form powerful permanent magnets. To protect the magnet inside the steel channel and increase the holding power, it is recessed inside the channel
The use of Magnets is virtually limitless. They can be used for hold downs, mounting dynamo coils, DIY projects, and a whole lot more. It can also be used as a cabinet or shower door catcher

Questions & Answers

When it comes to pulling strength, how much does it take?

A little over 60 pounds. While it's strange that the dimensions are not mentioned on the description, I got that information from the photos provided (last page with measurements). According to it, it has a pulling power of 30kg.

Those magnets are encased in stainless steel, so can they be removed. The one I'm trying to slide out is stuck. ?

Depending on their condition, they may have to be removed. By carefully holding the outside edges of the carrier and then pressing the edge of the magnet with another tool, I hold and hold the outside edges of the carrier. Although I can take some force, it comes out in the end. After I placed the plastic separator between the carrier and magnet, I then attached the carrier to

I am here. What magnets will hold a video camera in place on a vehicle?

They held a 1 lb video camera holding 230 feet in the air 230 feet in the air on my crane. As long as you put a piece of cloth between the magnet and the metal on your car, it'll work just fine. The downside is that it's going to scratch your paint. Furthermore, the magnets also come with a bunch of stainless steel screws, which is great since the screws do not stick to the magnets.

A series of wood displays weighing 8 pounds is being hung Is this going to hold the cleats firmly on the cleats but not make them difficult to take off?

If the magnets are strong enough to hold an 8 lb downward pull, then you must overcome that magnetic force when you slide the heavy item apart from the magnets. The easiest way to remove metal or other magnets from them is to slide them apart rather than pull them apart. While I work on this 7-pound battery inside a metal box, which will be held together by these magnets on a metal back sheet, I am learning how the magnets interact with the metal assembly and how varying the magnetic arrangement will affect it. The magnets might not be easy to remove if they are powered by a magnet strong enough to overcome an 8 lb vertical pull (think of a gallon of water).

This one is very strong! Make sure you are Keeping children away from children is a good idea! My wife and I are so in love with them that we The review was 5 stars and I have already ordered more, however I want to start off with some very strong warnings
5/5

I was shocked by how strong these magnets are! The strength of this is frightening! A spacer is included between them, but it should really be something bigger to make sure they are safe. In a short time, once I had removed them from the packaging and started messing around with them, the spacers got out of line and The instructions for how to separate them did not seem to have worked for me. It seemed to take me 30 minutes to split them apart. Despite everything it warned me not to do, I tried everything I was told Eventually, I realized using great difficulty that I could separate the top one from the bottom one if I spun it sideways. After that, I tried to put the magnet back in the plastic storage box with the spacer in between. However, as soon as I got close to the magnet, the magnets clicked back together, sending the spacer flying through the air and leaving a small pinch on my thumb. Despite my good intentions, I have yet to use the screws. So far, I have stuck a few tools to them and hung some tools from them. Although I love magnets, I now respect them in a very healthy way.

There is a 3mm gap in between, not a 5mm gap
3/5

This set of magnets was not suitable for my needs. * CON It's NOT true that these magnets are 5mm in size. The magnets are 3mm in diameter and enclose a u-shaped frame Steel channels with a shaped cross section. In addition to the channel, I measured a bit of spacing, the 3mm magnet, and the small spacing between the flat of the magnet and the top of the "U" of the channel. The technical term is This magnet does not have the same pulling power as a 5mm magnet, though. The closest thing I had to a 55-pounder was a 5-pounder. These 3mm magnets combined with the extra spacing that weakens pull power were not enough to perform this power pulling job. Tests showed that the target was successfully achieved by a real neodymium 5mm magnet. ABOUT THE PRO They seem to be in steel channels, and I like that. With such a clever solution, you will be able to reduce the chances of breakage, which is the most annoying part of I like that idea very much. There is only one problem the execution is terrible. The steel channel could make these magnets the perfect choice if your job requires only light duty magnetic performance. For jobs requiring strong magnetic force, you will need real 5mm magnets without the channel. I will note The return of neodymium magnets to Amazon is not allowed, as they are classified as hazardous materials when shipped. Take your time to think about your purchase.

Then I put these in a ridiculous oven, and i never looked back
5/5

She has an ornate Italian oven she loves to death, but the door to it is one of the worst designs I could ever imagine. The spring-loaded door opens with such difficulty I can't open it. A loaded door hinge seized, of course, and it was not possible to seal the door. It was propped up against the chair as she baked something. There was only about one centimeter's gap between the oven frame and the door, and the gap between them was only about one centimeter once the door was closed. Since I needed the ability to screw them into the stainless side (stainless isn't magnetic), I was thrilled to find these magnets existed. This fits perfectly into the gap between the door and the oven frame, and just like that you have an oven door that is properly designed!.

These little magnets are strong
5/5

I think these are great. The screws are strong enough that even if you accidentally caused two of them to stick together, you'd find it difficult to get them apart. I used one to fix a door to my wine fridge that would bounce open when I closed it, and it now stays shut-- The lock is hard to open and requires a strong pull. It is mentioned in the description that the size is small, but a couple reviews mention the size as well. Because you are unable to convert mm to inches, you shouldn't blame the seller.

Problem with clamping has been solved
5/5

There's no name on the sharpener, because the mechanics work great on the Amazon purchased model, but the clamp that holds the knives is a total fail. In place of the knife clamp, I mounted this magnet where the blades should normally be held, but it holds the blades solid instead, and the clamp is now used only as an indication of where the blades should be positioned. You can also use it to hold the steel slide of a 1911 45 acp pistol in hidden compartments, as well as use it as a.

I like its design, but it's pretty strong when it comes to Magnet force has strong magnetic properties and the metal bracket mounting is better than 3M tape especially on felt
5/5

Only con is the screws are easily stripped, so make sure you use a nonworn bit/driver that is small enough to fit the screw head completely and use caution when turning the final turn. It is best applied to flat surfaces in order to prevent things from moving around. It has been observed that items with a decent weight will slide down when mounted on the side (ex. loaded magazines). This can be done by stacking two or three components side by side. I have not tried mounting a magnet on the front of the car (ex Box tops) often used to hold things in place without falling out. This mounting technique can be accomplished under the same circumstances by placing two or more magnets side by side. Using gloves when separating magnets and installing is a good way to prevent pinching your Make sure metal objects and other magnets do not impinge on the magnet, even with the bracket. Their cracks and shards are likely to cause them to break. Care should be taken and caution should be used. You should not attach or store anything electrical near sensitive electronics like cell phones, dvds, dvd players, laptops, hard drives, flash drives, etc. A powerful magnet will annihilate storage devices and destroy electronics, and even some weak magnets can do the same. Materials made of ferrous metals (such as You need to rock or pull the object off instead of slid it.

Magnets with a very strong pull
5/5

This powerful magnet is what I use to hang my bamboo blinds onto my metal gazebo. Using four magnets, I attach my blinds to my 6 foot windows and they stay in place once firmly attached. Weighing about 30 pounds, the 6 foot bamboo blinds are about 6 feet high. I cannot imagine how it could You can only slide it off if you want it to fall. This is a great resource for anyone wanting to do some DIY. My next project will include a purchase from you again.
