Questions & Answers

The device can be used to detect nails embedded in drywall that is behind brick walls?

A strong magnet like this is great for finding metal nails that hold the drywall in place. During the process of slowly sliding a magnet along the surface of drywall, it will be attracted to the steel nails and screws that are very close to it. Before sliding the magnet all the way around the painted wall, cover it with a piece of tape. have a coating of metal which can leave marks on walls if they are left on for a long time.

How much increase in gauss rating is there when these are stacked up to three? Can you tell me what gauss I should take to get 12,000 to 15,000 gauss?

I don't believe that there is enough return on 12K or more for them to stack, but they seem to be stronger when they're stacked With these, you can reach 15k Gauss.

My goal for a wedding is to attach boutenieres to the lapels with magnets. Is it possible to stick the magnet to the bout with a dab of hot glue? How can we accomplish 16 tasks in a short amount of time?

Neodymium magnets should never be glued with a hot glue gun! In spite of the fact that this adhesive works extremely well on so many surfaces, a high temperature can de-magnetize No matter how well meaning they may be Often referred to as low temperature hot melts, these melts are well above the maximum operating temperatures of This is a bad idea! We find epoxy to be the best adhesive for the majority of the applications, as it's generally effective on both the nickel plating of our magnets and a variety of

Is it possible to use these to add weight to the bottom of a flag to help keep the flag ?

A very strong magnetic field can be achieved with these magnets, but they are very thin and light in Approximately 0.001 ounces of magnet are contained in a single piece. Approximately 267 oz.

Make sure you are buying from a reliable source
3/5

Since I am being completely candid, I would say these magnets are a little too Because of their strength, they're actually pretty annoying to deal with. There's no way to break these apart without some kind of tool, and you'll need to wait for at least five minutes if two of them are stuck together with nothing between them. It gets frustrating quickly. Any metal on either side of these will cause problems as well. The objects they stick to become tightly glued to them. It's a bit much for these magnets even for a grown man with hands that have played string instruments all his life. Kids should definitely stay away from this. In the event that your fingers get caught between two magnets, your fingers will be hurt. My project was an arts and crafts project, and I bought these to start with, but the weight is too much for me - A duty/high-level position This is the strength I need You need to get your hands on these awesome magnets if you want them. They could be convenient for some people, but for most people who just want a simple magnet to stick to the fridge, these are too strong. In any case, that's my take on the matter. The seller does not offer returns on this product, so be sure to learn this before you buy.

This is a strong signal but not as strong as expected for a My previous DIY project involved a knife rack made from From App**nets, 26 x 1/8in N52 magnets
3/5

Instead of buying the more expensive ones, I bought these cheaper ones. A 26 x 1/8in piece made of D**MAG and a 1 inch piece. The standard deviation is 26 times To use in a new knife holder, I used a Z***ma magnet of 06in (1/16in) in diameter. In a crude comparison, I compared each magnet's lifting power with the narrow edge of the key ring in contact with the magnet to see how much weight the magnet could lift. The following is 1 of It could lift a 13oz object with a 26 x 1/8in App***net, but the others could lift 6oz. The numbers 5 and 3 are related. There is a weight difference of 7 oz between D**MAG and Z***MA. Even without using a scale, it was clear there was a difference. Considering the approximately halving of thrust force when the thickness of the yarn is reduced from 1/8 to 1/16, it is likely that both cheaper brands are of the same N grade. No matter what the grade is, they do not appear to be the same as the one from App***nets. They are not specialized in supporting knives alone, but they can be used as a secondary magnet to hold the knife's tip in place. I don't know. Here's some information on rare earth magnets for those who are new to them You should be cautious. Magnets made of rare earth are prone to breaking, this is a normal aspect of them, and the thinner a magnet is, the more likely it is to crack. Although none of mine were damaged, they arrived in perfect condition.

These magnets are really nice
5/5

Despite my purchase of magnetic spice jars, they did not work for me. These magnets are really nice. However, when I tried to use the magnetic spice jars, they didn't stay up very well - they kept falling off the refrigerator. I was pleased with the performance of these magnets. They held up the spice jar even with heavy spices like cinnamon as well as light spices like bay leaves that are typically found in the spice jar. A strong thin magnet such as these is great if you need one.

It is unusable
3/5

These are not eligible for return because they are impossible to get apart. Yes, I read the directions on how to get them apart. Yes, they were marked for strength. I find this It is not that I am a youth, but that I am not a weakling. tried again and again, but I couldn't separate them. The magnets are that strong, and they come in a stack. Their purpose is now to be used as No use at all. I would not buy this!.

You should use these for your projects! In addition, It's awesome that these magnets exist
5/5

A pretty wide range of uses can be made with them. They proved to be very helpful to me when I converted a Micro Fight Chest Rig from Spiritus Systems into a binocular harness. The video you're looking for is here!.

It's great to have these magnets! Although I was concerned some of the reviews would say the magnets are too strong, I still chose to order them
5/5

Since they were so easy to separate, I was surprised how easy they were to remove. If you slide the magnet, you need to apply pressure at the top of the magnet, and not on the side. It is only after the magnets have begun to slide apart that you can apply pressure on the side edge to further separate In any case, I have no problem separating magnets without and with the plastic spacers it is just much harder to start the slide from the magnet's side edge. I was still able to do so with much more effort, however. The magnets can pinch a small amount of skin if they pinch a small area of skin strongly, but a finger was not hurt by placing it All in all, this is a great product, and I'm very happy with the strength they offer. The next time I buy them, I will certainly do so.

These magnets are VERY strong and very durable! In addition, Strong magnets like these are used in these devices
5/5

So much so that they even stuck to things THROUGH the cardboard box! Although powerful, they aren't quite strong enough for what I needed, but they are great nonetheless. I think this is an indestructible material! As a result of their stickiness, they can be a little difficult to work with. It was a very pleasant surprise to find out they're very thin even though I didn't know this from the listing. Plastic rings are between them in order to make them easier to handle, so they seem thicker than they really are. It would be nice if there was a photo of just the magnets themselves to see their real It may help to slide them apart if you can't get them apart. You will benefit from it. More of these in different sizes would be great!.

Despite not being too strong, they are The magnets I currently own are the third set I have purchased
5/5

Two of the first two were a replacement for weak magnets on my wall mounted spice rack and they worked so well I replaced the magnets on my refrigerator magnets as well. To remove them from their positions, you do not need the strength of the Hulk to overcome them. Once I separated them (which is a tough task), their combined strength was weakened, and they are the perfect strength to hold objects. When I took them out of the box, I was a bit concerned that they would be too strong for everyday use. The magnets are brittle, I have broken two of them, especially when they are being used for their final purpose, so be careful if you don't purchase too many because broken ones are difficult to make work again (as a whole magnetic field is repellant). They are highly recommended and I may buy more when required.
