The hooks are used to hang nail clippers and tweezers on the wall of our RV medicine cabinet. Perhaps they are a little overkill for that, but they would work perfectly for that. It seems that both work best when they are next to one another (touching each other). My first 3 were mounted right next to each other (touching), and my second 2 were about an inch apart from each other. The two that were separate pulled away from the wall and stayed attached. The power of those men is incredible! have now placed them all in a row touching each other, and they have stayed put. I think I might consider a tweezers and clippers magnet that is a little smaller, maybe a one".

While the magnet strength is excellent, the manufacturer should caution consumers about separating the magnets because pulling the magnets apart will result in them snapping back together with great force. The magnets are so strong that when pulled apart, they will snap back together with force while still embedded in your finger. The incident left me with a very bad injury. You should take care when pulling apart magnets, as self-harm is a serious risk if you do it wrong. The seller should include a warning on the packaging that self-harm is a real risk when pulling apart magnets.

The line between thick and thin is strong. The polish is nice. It was the perfect shape to attach to the square stone I was using it on. For a somewhat heavy painted stone, I used them to make a refrigerator magnet. It worked like a charm. If the magnets came in a flat plastic container, that would be nice. In the end, I used the flat plastic package that is designed to come with 20 screws or nuts. A screw was missing on one of mine, but I used the last one and it worked just fine.
