Possibly you can place magnets in one bench and then, in the matching bench, place a metal disc ( washer ).
Well, I guess In order to mount a fully loaded handgun inside my house, I needed two clamps. A five-pound bag of that weighs about 28 ounces. Magnets aren't safe for something like that, so I wouldn't try to use them.
I was not prepared for how big the screws were that came with my magnets If you have a large magnet, you'll need This is a #10 flat head As the screw head meets the magnet, there is a flush fit. On Amazon, the image makes them appear to be a size #8 and longer than 5/8 inches.
Magnetic fields are very strong with these magnets. With their poles pointing in the same direction, bringing them close together will make them repel each other, and you won't be able to bind them. I tested these when I got them and you will be surprised how powerful these are and just how quickly they can get away from you if they get too close together. Since they are so strong, one magnet could invert itself to reorient the poles to attract to the other magnet too. Taking precaution is a must!

All 10 of these were bought for a project I thought I'd need to hold it I was wrong in so many ways. It's almost too much to ask for one. According to the instructions, you should not get your fingers stuck between two of them. Don't forget to follow this advice! There are many good reasons that little buggers are more powerful than I would have expected. You should not overtighten the screws when mounting because they are brittle. As the instructions say, these screws break if overtightened. This is a neat tool to play with, and it's so strong that you can use it to find screws in drywall (to locate studs) in a house 3 doors away. Due to the angle of the counter and the sliding motion of the box, I found metal on my wall after I put the box 3" away. It's so hard to find these little things. I'm happy to have 8, but have eight.
To attach my solar panels to my metal roof, I use these straps. In case of a change of position, I can do so. This is a very sturdy material. Instead of 10/24 flat head screws, I used 10/24 flat head machine screws to hold magnets to solar panel support brackets. There are six magnets that will hold a 100 watt solar panel securely in place. The size of the magnets I chose based on whether the panels should extend over the roof ribs. I made round washers out of 1/2" plywood with a hole saw and put one on each magnet. I love it! You will not find any holes in the roof! They are also used for heating the water that comes from the solar panels on the roof and even the pipes that connect.
The package was delivered to me today - thank you! To keep away from any iron or other magnets, 2 boxes of 5 magnets each are packed in styrofoam. One has already been cemented on the inside of a prescription bottle cap that I plan to place on my refrigerator (using the amazing GOOP made by the plumber). In order to keep screws together with my drill, if the flat area on the front of one of my cordless drills is large enough, I will glue the magnet to the side of the screwdriver. The screws that came with my magnets are not small - they are pretty big. If you have a large magnet, you'll need This is a #10 flat head As the screw head meets the magnet, there is a flush fit. Appearing to be stainless steel, they are.
According to the image on the Amazon product page, these appear to be size #6 or #8 and longer than 5/8 inches.
It's a good thing that there's a generous countersink in the center, because then you can reuse round head screws when you replace the feet. Below is a picture of a Foredom LX tool I replaced the rubber feet of with four of these feet, and it holds the tool like a vice against the steel pillar. The magnet box has a big warning about it being fragile, so I followed it! Of course they The first one I broke broke right away. You can try pushing the broken surfaces together, if you break one, and you'll see what I mean. If you break one, I am not certain whether they are really "fragile," or just under a great deal of internal stress.
My towel rack is magnetically attached to my refrigerator with a simple towel rack I bought for a bargain. The magnets I use to attach my steel desks to these power strips. Make sure you don't drop them against each other, and be careful not to smash them against your hard drive. Some applications require magnets with opposite polarities to attract one another. This is true, for instance, for water pumps. A countersunk hole in the center of the magnets means they can be screwed to things, but at the same time, it indicates their polarity. Magnets will all screw onto something with either their north side or their south side facing out when you order them. Then they can be paired up. It would be great to have 5 North and 5 South. My collection of these over the years has been so large that I now have at least It would be nice, however, to be able to choose which kind of package There is a mention on the product page that "the north pole can also be installed on the countersunk face", but I couldn't find any A question has been asked "Is it possible to purchase a 10 pack of the opposite polarity?"? Despite repeated attempts to contact the seller, she does not reply. appears that all products of this type are missing the same kind of information. My project uses paired magnets. If I had researched this before starting it, I would have saved myself time and effort. Instead of searching the shelves for opposite-polarity pairs of these, you might have been better off using a cup magnet with a higher holding force against a piece of steel.
Magnet with a strong magnetic field. My garage is full of them so I can organize my workbench there. I like to hang my tools near me so I can quickly see them while I am working. There are screws that come with the mag that look to be made of a type of stainless steel, which is non-ferrous metal. I like the speed of shipping and the quality of the product. This is a five-star review.
The license plate can be mounted easily on the bumper of a car with this device. I really liked the super-strong magnets which were perfect as license plate holders/mounts for my use. In general, magnets do a good job of traveling through bumper material and stay in place. As a result of the bumper being sandwiched between two sets of magnets and holding my license plate, I was able to get up to 100 mph and the license plate did not fall off. This proves how strong these magnets I was really hesitant as I felt like I had to release energy. You can feel the power as it snaps.
I ordered a bunch of these and only one was broken. Using magnets for displaying swords and knives is far more flexible than other display methods since they are much stronger and more durable than paper. However, there were two large medallions that caused me a problem. I was wrong in thinking that the magnetic poles were front to back or back to front, but they are After epoxying large washers to the 5" medallions, I screwed in the magnets and covered the wall with magnets and screws. After I stuck the medallions on the magnets, they all shifted around according to their design A little more than 1/2 inch dropped lengthwise. As a result, we are not If you need accuracy to 1/8", they would be okay, but when you need accuracy to 1/8", they are out of the question. I am not so sure. The weight of a couple of the swords that I mounted made the magnets double as strong, so I added to them. In the wall I stuck one magnet on top of the other, and I also stuck an additional magnet on top of that. Steel and cast iron adhere really well to this paint. Several swords with brass or bronze handles did not stick so well since the steel in the middle of the handle was too far away to be attracted. I just lowered the top magnet a few inches lower and it worked like a charm.
