Although I have not used them outside, I have used them in my RV. There is no way I can I switched back to the old dim bulbs after a few months as they all started flickering badly. I'm still looking for something bright that will last.
As far as the base is concerned, it does swivel. We now have more light in our RV since we used mine to brighten up the interior. Having said that, I believe this bulb would be a good pick for RV porch lighting.

This is a great replacement for incandescent RV lights. The "Scare" light from the GDM Momentum is replaced with these, which means I can see around the door from the other side. A lumen output of 280.
The bright white was packed in two packs of two, but I only received one white and one like the bright white ones a lot, especially the way it channels all the light into I have tested them in my RV and they are good, except for the color of the one pack, which is incandescent.
Among the brightest LED lamps I've seen, these are by far the brightest hole-shaped LED lights I have ever seen. It was impossible for me to find ones locally that would hold a candle to this It's my second purchase of these and I highly recommend them if you're looking for It arrived quickly as well.

The LEDs are bright and colorful, and I like the color. My units have been in place for about six months, and all the LEDs continue to work, including each of the 25 on each one. They are a part of our daily lives. The number of them installed so far is seven. The motorhome was fitted with them as a direct replacement.
They're gorgeous! I love them. It is nice and bright, we had the round ones and liked them, then I saw these flat ones, and they are even brighter since the bulbs all point downward. I highly recommend it for an RV.
Those both lasted a long time in my camper and left a terrible smell. To replace the 1156 bulbs with brighter and cooler bulbs, I bought these. As well as blowing a fuse, they damaged a transmission line.
I am very pleased with them.
