As shown in the picture, there is no hose connection for the drain line
3/5

It looks like the correct blower/motor, except that it was missing the hose connection for the drain line, as shown in the photo. Please note the yellow cap at the end of the drain hose in the image. There was no drain hose connection on the unit that we received. This will result in the condensate that drains back through the flue vent (per furnace instructions which state that the flue vent should drain back to the furnace) accumulating in the fan/motor since there is no drain hose connection to connect to the drain hose. A buildup of condensate interferes with blowers and motors, which eventually causes the furnace to shut.

I found the shipping options to be utterly useless when in need
4/5

My heater just stopped working during the winter. I was not aware that the circuit board indicator would help isolate the fault. The problem was a faulty pressure switch at the time. I had issues with this unit due to a faulty inducer before I changed it. In the past few days I had been hearing noises that had grown louder and louder over time, so I thought the bearings were bad. This was an in-stock product, but the shipping options were poor at best. Keep in mind this was the middle of winter normally, I would have had it shipped in one day, but that was not the case this time. In spite of being a prime member, the two day shipping option was unavailable. For the two-day shipping option, it would cost over $100—it may be cheaper in the summer but that would be exploitative. I found the price of the unit alone to be At best, it was a rip-off to get a "professional".
Once it came, I compared the unit side by side with what I had. As far as I could tell, everything matched. The socket wrench can be substituted by any person who knows how to use one. I would say it took me around thirty minutes. There are a few things you must Previously, there was a housing over the motor on the existing unit. In regards to this particular unit, I place it as follows Because there was literally a sticker that said "do not operate this device without this cover. " & so I went to try to use I started it and it ran for a minute before shutting down again. Briefly, the inducer motor was unable to spin because the housing was impervious to rotation. A couple of the bolts over the housing and to secure it were not long enough to compensate for the length of the motors. Following some troubleshooting, I removed the housing and what do you know, the problem was fixed! The pros are It's an easy DIY project you can do yourself for a small cost if you don't want to be taken advantage of by a heating service provider during the cold months. The cons are Despite a desperate need for Amazon prime shipping, there was no prime shipping from Amazon.

It is an excellent The first sentence
5/5

My nearly seized inducer blower was replaced with this one. The old blower had a model number of Upon further research, I was able to confirm that this new blower is the direct replacement for 01S. In the product picture, the old used blower looked exactly like the old one I have (with the yellow cap and the A yellow cap is not present on this product due to the lack of extra ports. Has a closed wheel as well. The new blower is quieter than my old one, as I hadn't realized how noisy my old one was. verified the motor had almost no friction when I turned it manually. It continued spinning for a while after that. It took about a half hour for the installation to be completed. Along with the gasket I received the fitting, which was not expected. Nonetheless, there was a lot of damage to my original gasket, which is why I was so pleased with my new one.

Parts are as advertised by the OEM
5/5

If you have some knowledge of mechanics or electricity, this is a relatively easy project. Please take caution While there are no instructions, the repair is pretty straight forward since only 4 mounting bolts are required, a couple of vacuum connections, a duct connection, and a couple of electrical connectors. Even so, labeling connections and taking a picture before you begin disassembling are both good ideas, especially if you are new to hardware disassembly. As part of the unit, a new gasket is included as well as mounting bolts. I spent about an hour completing the cleanup from the time I unboxed the kit. While removing the old gasket from the mounting point between the motor and furnace, I spent most of my time doing it. With the help of a paint scraper, I was able to remove and dispose of all but the most stubborn adhesive. A sturdy, narrow putty knife would also be useful. Although some old adhesive residue was still present, the new gasket adhered well. I had to maneuver the motor outflow vent into the exhaust duct and then get four mounting bolts to lock into place, but after that, I was able to connect the electrical wires (they're color coded) and reconnect the vacuum lines in a jiffy. I have been very pleased with my furnace since it has been running for a month after the repairs were completed. My old vent motor had been making a really loud noise prior to the repair (my old vent motor had been making a loud noise) For roughly a year, it has been making high-pitched noise). Obviously, I saved myself not only a service call (probably between $100-$150) but also time and It costs me about an hour to do an hour's worth of work, but I get at least 50% off the part cost for that hour.

My inducer motor assembly replaced by this product met all my expectations and expectations
5/5

The product replaced my inducer motor assembly seamlessly. There was no need for adjustments, mounting screws provided and identical to those I removed. The unit appeared identical, with exact mounting locations (no adjustments). There are some complaints that the product does not look or work exactly like the one shown in the picture (the yellow rubber cover used to seal the port in some furnace models), but I knew that my furnace did not require that specific attachment. In order to replace this assembly, I was not 100% sure it would fix the problem. I had already tried to replace the pressure switch, flame sensor, and igniter (I had spare parts for them all) without success. An inducer motor seemed to be the most logical next step, and it proved to be the most effective and fast solution. Taking the inducer motor assembly and any connections apart and replacing them took just over 20 minutes total The furnace started working perfectly as soon as the power was turned back on This week has actually been a bit quieter than the past two Thank you for the purchase. I'm very happy with it. I only had one complaint, which was that I had no idea when the part would arrive until the day before it actually arrived. As of the time of this posting, there had been no ship-to date for the part. Even though the part was delivered within the delivery window, better information would have been helpful when your furnace is waiting for an essential part during a cold snap. It would have cost me $400-$500 to replace this part myself, but I could have spared some money by diagnosing it myself A 500-dollar sum. I like it!.
