There is no room for error

Ongoing wood burner problems led me to go to a stove store and ask for a replacement motor. My search led me to Amazon and sure enough, there it is. Installation took 15 minutes and I now have hot air blowing into the room. The unit is a little louder than what I was used to.

This is powerful! The old motors on our wood-burning stove had to be replaced by two motors A stove for burning wood. What a shocker. It's safe to say that these new motors perform well. I use my Dayton blower in an outdoor furnace and it works well

This blower is a little noisier than the original but since it is meant for my outdoor furnace, not a big deal. As expected, it performs as expected. The wiring came with the wrong directions, but there are only two In order for it to work, it must have the right polarity. All in all, it is satisfactory for me.

Taking the older one back was a good idea. I'm not impressed with it as it's not up to the standard of the old Dayton. As much as we wanted to use it for our fireplace insert in our den, we ended up having to go back to the old blower despite its same size and number. However, the TV could not be heard without volume turned to 60 + 70, so back to the old worn out blower. Another brand might be a better choice.
