It is quiet. To replace a wimpy axial fan (with normal fan blades), I bought this blower to install on my wood stove, and I am extremely pleased with it. Due to the low rpms and ball bearing, and the fact that I set it up for low speed only, it is very quiet. To adapt the stove to this new fan, we parted with the old fan and drilled mounting holes in the side of the stove (make sure that mounting screws are placed in areas with low temperatures).
