I'm not sure how much air you are hoping to move with this blower, but it will certainly move air from inside to outside. There is only a 50 to 60 CFM range on this blower. It is powered by a fraction of a horsepower and so a standard light switch will be able to handle the starting and running current of this unit, but you may want to check your local codes first.

As an example, the unit that replaced the unit installed in a hoop house for the purpose of blowing air between the two layers of That works well for me.
With the help of self-tapping screws, I mounted this bad boy on the bottom of my triburner coal stove (Alaska Channing II). I removed the original squirrel cage fan rotor and wired in a plug from an old refrigerator I had in the garage. If you are using a conduit box, you will need a 1/2" clamp. Definitely works well, would last a long time. I can get a flame touching the top of the stove when using full feed rate. My only problem was that the flange got in the way of the wingnut, so I used a regular nut instead. You can get enough cool air into the gear box housing from the gap where the old fan stood that you can get rid of the stupid fan on the side of the stove that blew cool air on the gearbox.
The company is very good. We couldn't work with the first one who came in. A replacement item was sent to me by the seller after I contacted them. My coal forge works perfectly with this blower due to its durability. There shouldn't be too much or too little air to get a bed of coals up to temperature. This little guy is incapable of moving enough air for a ribbon burner, so I am building a forced air forge.
The blower is made of quality material and is quiet to operate. Once again, I am in love with my 12' x 12' greenhouse. An ideal amount of air to inflate the walls in order to insulate.
I have used these motors in 2 coal furnaces I run in my house and in my Currently, my local dealer is asking $180 for the car. For this motor, you'll have to pay $300. $161 was spent on purchasing the book. This was an excellent deal at 00. In general, coal-fired boilers last about 3 years, but they are If the environment was cleaner, I would expect the items to last longer. I am very happy with my.
Fan of very high quality. I like how calm and smooth it is. Having used it with a variable power supply, it has never failed me. In order to minimize damage to the windings, I think the key is to start it at full power, then throttle down afterwards to the desired speed.
Dayton's blower is an ideal replacement for a woodstove fan that's been around for more than 25 years. I am impressed with its construction and how it functions. The only minor complaint I have is that there is not as much air movement as I had hoped for. However, putting that aside, it is exactly what I hoped and wished it would be after releasing it from the box.
