Hello Aaron, The New Pig Latching Drum Lid DRM659 will only fit steel drums and will not work on plastic drums. Our New Pig Latching Lid for Poly Drums DRM1084-A will work on both steel and plastic drums. RD is compatible with the majority of plastic 55-pound bags. However, I am impressed with the quality. On a 55 gallon drum, it's a little more difficult. Other than that, there were no major flaws.
