Is it resistant to UV rays? I'd like to use it as a chicken waterer, so it must be able to withstand high temperatures outside. ?

There is no specific rating that we are aware of. We're aware that they've been successfully used outside. However, one thing to keep in mind is to avoid getting wet. If moisture sealing is important, use a standard snap-on lid. Gamma2 is a little too exuberant with their verbiage about leakproof, etc. industrial style lid with a gasket (or mallet on). The convenience of the Gamma Seal is one of its most appealing features. When it comes to liquid applications or precipitation, the Gamma Seal's gasket helps to keep things fresh, but it isn't a guarantee.

"Made in the USA, free shipping!" is clearly written on the label. " is written in the description, but when you check it out, you'll notice that it's not true. It says $39.50 for shipping. What is the reason for this?

The Gamma Seal lids must be installed by the user. As a courtesy and to improve shipping efficiency, we will usually install one or more lids. When an order contains multiple items, shipments are consolidated and buckets are stacked to save time. If we put a lid on the top bucket in a stack, it will only be for that bucket. The rest of the lids will be installed by the user. The best tool you can use is a rubber mallet.

What is the maximum amount of rice that this container can hold?

It works perfectly - For what it is, it is a bit pricey

It appeals to my tastes. It was purchased to keep garbage in a camper van sealed. I only tried it at home, but it worked perfectly to keep odors at bay when closed. I'd give it five stars if it were a little less expensive. However, it is effective.

There isn't a snap adapter in place

This is my second purchase of a bucket. The snap adapter, however, was not installed in the same manner as the first one. Using a rubber mallet, it was a nightmare to install. It is not something that everyone is capable of. Please be consistent, or tell us we must do it ourselves.

Turn the middle section upside down if it won't close. It normally closes. There's no mystery about how it closes; it's just like a regular cap. br>It makes me very happy.

The package arrived in great shape. I like this size because it's easier to move than the larger bucket when it's full, which I use to store sugar. br>I'd buy from this seller again if the opportunity arose - Excellent service and good quality.
