Gamma lids are the kind of invention that makes you kick yourself for not thinking of it sooner, for those who haven't had much experience with them. They're tight, well-fitting, strong, but easily removable lids that turn any 5 gallon bucket into a high-capacity bucket. vessel for storing technology They're primarily used for bulk storage of dried foods. The lids make it as easy to get to the food as if it were in a jar or tupperware container. They're great for bulk foods like 35 pound beans, 50 pound flour, and 40 pound rice that you won't eat in a week. I've heard that people use these for food storage for up to 25 years, and I'm sure they work well. But they really shine for me when I need/want to get into the container every now and then but don't want to fight a snap-on lid, and when I want a nearly air-tight seal. Once closed, the lid is very tight. The lids are a near-perfect solution to a variety of storage problems, and they don't break the bank. This book comes highly recommended.
The lids are great, but the shipping is awful. It takes an eternity to finish them. I placed my first order. I should have learned my lesson after the first order arrived two weeks late. br>The second order has yet to arrive.
The vibrant colors of these lids appeal to me. With all white buckets, bright colored lids are extremely useful for quickly determining what is in the bucket (which is also labeled). Because my brain is wired to associate color with things or words, it's wonderful to be able to tell what's in the bucket just by looking at the lid's color! These lids also seal well and are simple to put on.

If you frequently use 5 gallon buckets, this is a great tool to have. It's both practical and durable. They may appear to be expensive, but they can be purchased almost anywhere. I like the various colors for sorting buckets as well. Arrived on time.

I HAVE ORDERED THESE ON TWO OCCASIONS AND WILL ORDER ONCE MORE. The only issue this time was that we attempted to attach one to a bucket, and after pounding on it for half an hour, we discovered that they had been manufactured with two plastic gasgets in the space where one should be. It worked perfectly after we removed the extra.
