If you have one that fell off, you must replace the whole unit. They are factory fitted, so if you break one off, you must replace the whole unit.
There were no screws in the box, but I don't remember if they did, either way if they did I didn't use them if they As for my project, I used some #10 screws that measured 5/8ths of an inch in length to attach plywood to a wall. Continuing to hold firm.
There is a total height of 1 1/2" on the caster.

We have an ottoman on casters as part of our sectional sofa, but one of the coasters broke after many years. The original Coaster has been discontinued, and I was unsure if I'd find a replacement that would fit and match the remaining 3. The bolts placed in the old holes were the right size and position for the new studs. The process could not have been easier, and now I have an extra coaster in reserve for when the next one breaks.
As you can see from the amazon photo, the metal base is silver. The reason I give only 3 stars is that mine came in gold. There may be some of you who will be impacted greatly by this. I don't mind that the base is hidden, so it wasn't a problem for me. Those are on an ottoman that I installed. The screws that came with them did not fit, so I used wood screws instead. There is a caster that is 2 1/2" high that I'm using. The diameter of the pipes will be 1 3/8" - 1 1/8" You will need 1 1/2" clearance if you would like to inset a caster and allow.
Wheels replace those damaged by vandalism, fit perfectly.
The two on the right work perfectly now, and the two on the left work too.
Just what the doctor ordered. It helped me to order somewhat taller wheels so that my carpet would be cleared. I find the movement a lot different, but it is natural for them to be better now because the old ones fell apart.
Using the wheel on my POANG chair, I made a desk chair from it I love the way it works on low profile carpet. Using #8 1/2" wood screws, I assembled a wooden board. You need to watch out that the chair does not tilt forward when moved, but other than that, I would highly recommend them for the Ikea.
The kids kept jumping onto the ottoman from the couch when they were playing the "floor is lava" game and the casters broke. These worked great to fix the problem. The kids are a real pain.
