I'm pleased with how things are going so far. You should be aware that this type of stainless steel does not possess a fully rustproof quality. In addition, I rinse and dry the item after every use to prevent rust. I use it for my saltwater aquarium, and I rinse with fresh water after every use. If you stick a magnet to stainless steel, you will be able to tell the quality of the steel. More ferrous metal is found in stainless steels of this quality if the magnetic attraction is strong. For placing plants in substrate, these work great for tall aquariums. I bought them for my 30" tall planted aquarium. I use the same method to place corals in my 30" tall reef tank and to remove pest starfish. This is a good purchase.
