In the past, I have used the lock only to secure the tweezers inside its flat cardboard tube for storage. However, I just checked and there's enough spring in them to secure them to a thickness of up to about 1/4". As a result, I might hesitate to lock on to anything larger than 1/4", since I have to apply significant pressure to lock it. While stainless steel has a good bit of bending resistance, it is not as sturdy as aluminum.
This worked well for me. The tip stays straight and together in spite of the matter that I pick up the object with ease. I don't need to squeeze hard either. Despite the tweezers' weight and durability, they are sturdy and durable. The tweezers I use for miniature work can be found here.

Because of how flat the locking tab was against the body of the forceps, the locking mechanism did not work out of the box. As you can see in the top panel of my image, I bent the tab to about a 45 degree angle using pliers. On the bottom panel, you can see that the lock engages when the forceps are tightly closed. In my opinion, this defect should have been caught by quality control at the factory - I therefore downgraded my ranking. It is especially troubling since other customers have reported this issue as well. At only $4, it is an excellent value. Even if Aventools had provided instructions on adjusting the locking tab, it could have reduced this problem. In fact, the forceps work quite well after they are adjusted properly. If I squeeze firmly on the tabs, they lock firmly, and if I gently press on them, they unlock easily.
An important wisdom-seeking event has taken place recently Immediately after removing a tooth, I was left with a pouch that collects food particles (hopefully for a limited time). There are times when swishing water around back there doesn't work and I cannot always use the oral water syringe that I was given by the dental surgeon. The forcep I found here on Amazon had an angled end I couldn't find locally. I found it to be an easy way to solve my issue. The item appears to be made in Pakistan and to be of high quality. It does not appear to be marked as "stainless steel" anywhere, but I assume that is what it is made of. In its cardboard envelope container, this product is easily tucked away because of the locking feature. It is a perfect match between the two business ends. In spite of the difficulty of seeing in this photograph, the ends make a small point, but not very sharp. I haven't punctured my gums with it, so take reasonable care. This has been a very good purchase for me.
I use them as most of my locking tweezers. By far the greatest I have used.
This is not a product flaw, but the way I hold them (with the points up) the unlock tab most often ends up on the finger side. The index finger on my right hand seems to be having trouble unlocking the phone. The slack I have to turn them over before unlocking isn't always there. I wish there was a left-handed version like this to go along with them. It would be great if there were a left handed version of these, since I really like them.
When I first began using the clip, I thought I had to bend the clip back and forth every time I needed to lock or unlock the application. As a result of stress, I was skeptical that the clip would hold. As I was bent the clip to lock itself, I realized that unlocking just required a slight push - and I had to bend the clip into just the right spot for it to work. You can bend a bit, but not much. There is a clip on this. It now seems obvious how to handle a bent clip at the beginning of the clip's life. I will continue using them. Even so, they do not excite me in the least, and I will likely purchase something else if I find a better one.
The unlocking was a bit hard, because you have to push against that tiny piece of metal. However, once it is unlocked, it is a great tool. This holder is used for my craft projects to hold small materials. It appears that metal serrations are present on one side of the bent tip they look like they will provide a bit of grip since they are not I am overall satisfied with this forcep, but in the future I would like to order a larger one with the lock on the handles so that I can open it more easily.
It was not a curved locking cotton plier, which is described in this item description. It was a correct item number, but it was not curved locking cotton pliers. A straight tweezer was mailed to me, not an injection The locking mechanism. As far as I can tell, Amazon has reached its peak. Over the past few months, I have experienced this more often. Anyway, I had a good time from time to time.
It would seem that these are of a very high It is very nice to be able to store them since they close evenly and have a locking mechanism. Mostly for building new coils, I use these curved serrated tweezers while vaping. I think they'll last for a long time.
