Reproctools has created a way to harness the power of a reciprocating saw for other purposes besides its primary function. This saw will be able to file, clean, and scrub. It uses a unique Universal Adapter to do this. There is no problem with the adapter it's well-made The construction is sturdy, heavy, and well-made. The tools have a hex shank that holds them firmly in place. This line includes two metal files (Half-size, 1/4-size, A round and a half A Rat Tail, two wood working tools (Bald Rasp and Round Rasp) There are 3 brushes (2 are made of stainless steel and one of wood) Cleaning Brush and Cleaning Pad), a Nylon and a Cleaning Brush. Reciprotool was acquired by Jore Corporation in 09/11, which is a substantial loss. At the present time, it is difficult to find the complete line of these tools.
When coupled with a reciprocating saw and adapter, it makes a great addition to your tool kit.
By hose clamping it to a used saw blade, I was able to use a reciprocating saw to cut it. This scrubber has great scrubbing power.
I used the reciprocating saw to clean grout with the product as described. It has held up very well.
It works fine, but because it is a nylon brush, it might not be the best tool to use in a reciprocating tool if you don't want to be too aggressive.
I couldn't be happier with it.
