You should consider buying this brush if you want to prevent static. There are several brushes I have used, including the most recent version of Audioquest's and the zerostat gun, but I did not see the same benefits as this one. Although this brush should have been shipped in a box not a soft padded bag, this was not the case. It is fortunate that product packaging did not break, but brush was damaged. Although this wasn't a huge deal in this particular case, the seller should have taken this possibility into account when packing and avoided it. The rest of the experience was excellent.
Everything on this brush seems to be very well made, and the brush itself is very soft. Dust is a magnet for vinyl, and there is not much that can be done to make sure that a record is dust-free after the dust is removed. However, the brush works and I am pleased with it.
Brushes made with carbon fiber are far superior to those made with copper. My initial hesitation was whether it would be worth dropping $90 on a brush, but damn, is it worth it. There is a lot of static in my house, causing dust and pet hair nightmares. This brush does not contribute to the static issue. This reduces the importance of the work. Using carbon fiber brushes has been part of my routine for a long time. It's a far better option than that. The sound of records is better when there is less static and less dust.
Removing dust from the surface.
It's effective.
Although it isn't for everyone due to its cost, the brush is as effective as the company claims. This is impressive.
The best money you can spend on audiophile equipment. Using brush to clean grooves and discharge records does a superb job of removing dust. This product came highly recommended to me at a great store in Tokyo and I am now delighted that you can get on Tokyo now.
