I would agree with you, up to a point. On the vertical, you can brush the sides as well. Throughout the trap and beyond, the brush will hug the outer edge of the arc, but this is expected to be underwater. The diameter of a sink drain is 1 1/2" and this brush works well in that type of
It's hard for me to tell what a condensation line looks like, but the brush has a diameter of just under 1 1/4 inches. As you push (or pull) it in a drain, it will squish down to about 5/8". Flexibility and durability make it a great choice. Everyone should have it in their homes.
Since I've been using this brush more than a decade ago, I regularly clean the lavatory pop-ups The upstream and downstream bodies were called up and the tailpiece and p-pipe were called down There are traps. Worked like a charm.

It's true that I was skeptical of the Brushtech Drain Brush before I tried it. In my case, however, there seemed to be a significant buildup of gunk on the walls of the drain pipe. So I decided to give this product a try. In my experience, it is just as flexible as it says- A long coil spring is attached to a handle at one end and a cleaning brush on When I removed the sink stopper and inserted the brush into the drain, it was easier to clean. It followed the bends in the pipe until it ran out of length with a few twists here and there. As recommended, I ran hot water downstream to wash away the crud as I brushed. * I was more skeptical about this product than my wife was, but it worked.
(The drain flows better than it has in quite some time. After I brushed the drain out, she asked the plumber to take a look at it the next time he was here. A piece of the drain was pulled apart and found to be )
Overall, the product has proven itself very useful for.
Together with Biodrain Gel from InVade, this is a good combination Then, scrub the drain with the brush (to remove the layer of mucus that covers the interior of the drain pipe), and then apply Biodrain Gel to eliminate the drain.
You're the best! Bathroom drains are perfect for using this product! Over time, my bathroom sink drains became slower and slower. An investigation revealed that soap scum was clogging up the drains. Cleaning out soap scum with this will be effortless and it seems to be gentle enough to go through the sink's U trap easily. When the sink drain is longer, I take the drain after the trap apart. If it is a short drain, I will simply push it through. The two approaches have both been effective. I also bought one as a gift for my father because I liked it so much. That's illegal!.
It's not that In an effort to unclog the pipe that carries the drain water from the dishwasher to the sink, I recently bought some special tools. Due to its flexibility, the coiled body was able to easily maneuver down and through the curving pipe. The tube almost made it difficult to push downward with downward force since it was so bendy. Push straight down, and you will find that instead of making the brush descend like it should, the force you exert will cause it to bend. The biggest complaint I have is that the drain brush was too short. It was tantalizingly close to pushing all the gunk all the way out, but not quite. If I had added another inch or two, this drain brush would have done the trick and would have been rated The fact that you make me use my fingers to get rid of the last bit of that disgusting crud results in you losing I hate it.
I had this job done and I was satisfied with how long it took to clean the sink drains in my bathrooms. The job is easy to clean once you are done. The only thing I would recommend is to wrap a towel around the brush at the opening of the sink drain -- As soon as you remove the brush, black disgusting stuff splatters everywhere (the mirror, counter top, walls, your clothes/face etc. ). This will not come off walls with a matte/eggshell paint finish, so use the towel to keep it from moving. This was a lesson to be.
The brush just pulled a lot of hair and crud out of the drain in one of our bathroom sinks in minutes or two. I've purchased a lot of chemical or enzyme-based drain cleaners in my life. You won't have to wait for hours for liquid cleaners to eat their way through the blockage, and perhaps your pipes, too. The brush will need to move down the pipe, so there will need to be a little room. Having a mechanical stopper or other built-in obstruction near the top of the drain may make it impossible to pull the plug out.
Having a bathroom sink drain that gets gunked up with soap and hair seemed too tedious to me so I bought this instead. A moderate amount of success was achieved with snakes. For my situation, I'd like it to be about 10 inches longer just to be more certain that the mess gets into the vertical drain pipe in the wall, and not accumulate just past the slip nut to require another snake in the future. So far, I have not had a problem.
My sink drain and overflow were cleaned with precision using the length of the rag. A little slime our daughter made last year poured down the sink drain. She loves to make slime. I am surprised at how bad the overflow smells. I used this brush to do the job! I scrubbed it out and there is no odor left. It is not built to clean much beyond the water trap, so don't expect it to achieve much. I wish they came up with one with a little longer bristles so the overflow could be scrubbed more effectively.
