These are fantastic needles with a razor sharp point. For those who are curious, they are also Luer locks. They're great for drawing testosterone, which is what I use them for.
I bought these to make a small vile of testosterone for my husband. The pharmacy has a hard time getting them. It was simply more convenient to place an order. It is ideal for our requirements.
18 G needles are good for injecting subQ fluids or lancing an abscess, and they are nice needles at a good price. Although I didn't require 100 needles, the larger box was less expensive per needle.
The fluids were easy to come by from online pet pharmaceutical companies, but getting these needles in the right size proved difficult for some reason. I was overjoyed to discover these on Amazon, and they are ideal for my needs. Each needle is individually wrapped in a band-aid-style wrapper with a cover to protect the sharp end and is easy to peel open. The item that was sent to me was exactly as described and pictured.

What was described about the product is exactly what it is. This seller, on the other hand, sold them with BD quality syringes pictured in their ad - However, I was sent low-quality Exel, which I dislike and can only use for my type of prescription. These needles, on the other hand. are sharp, and one of them has a hole in it So just make sure they send you what they say they're going to send you. I can't seem to locate the old, prominent "Ask Seller a Question" button?.
These are ideal for administering subcutaneous fluids to my cat on a daily basis. They have a good length and lock into place. The 1. 5-inch needles are too long, and if not handled carefully, they can pierce through to the other side of the scruff. This 1 inch needle is a far superior choice. I've purchased them previously and will do so again. Excellent value for money, especially when compared to vet fees! And believe me when I say that they are razor-sharp. When I thought I was capping the needle after finishing the fluids, I accidentally stuck myself, and it went in one side of my thumb and out the other. So if these seem boring, it's because they aren't the ones I've been using. These are excellent, and I am extremely pleased with them.
However, it has a sharp punch that breaks the rubber and leaves it inside the vial. This is not something that the BD brand has done. These are either a little too big or the tip's cut angle is too wide, but they don't work well for my medication. Because there are rubber chunks floating inside the vial now, I'll have to go to the pharmacy and get it replaced. It extracts the medication well enough that I can switch to a 25 gauge needle and inject it, but I don't like the idea of chunks of garbage in my medicine. Stick to a tried-and-true formula. Unless you're injecting farm animals, you should stick to a well-known brand.
