Luxurious 254 365nm dual wavelength UV lamp with Li-ion battery and DC power. AI-2UV20DC is the model number for this item. Two G6T5 6W bulbs, one for 254 nm and the other for 365 nm, are used in this lamp. Because it's battery-powered and cordless, it's ideal for a variety of applications where an AC-powered plug-in UV lamp would be inconvenient. Similarly to a laptop computer, this lamp can be used with the power plugged in.
FREE EXTRA OPTION: Depending on the bulb, this lamp can be used as a 254 nm x2 (shortwave, UVC) or 365 nm x2 (longwave, UVA) lamp. We can prepare the unit for exclusive 254 nm (double the brightness, 6W bulb x2) or 365 nm at no additional charge if desired. If your application only requires one wavelength, this could be very useful because you can get twice the lighting intensity (by turning on both bulbs at the same time). Simply send us an email before or after you make a purchase.
When brand new, the lithium battery can power one bulb for up to 7 hours. DC charger accepts a wide range of voltages from 100 to 240 volts.
In the photos, there is a TLC plate illumination example with a wavelength of 254nm. The distance between the plate and the ground is 15cm. The 365 nm demonstration was done on half-sheet letter paper. The high-quality brightness can be seen in both wavelength images, which were taken in well-lit, unshaded room lighting conditions. This mineral lamp can also be used as a starter lamp. In a completely dark room, held at a distance of 30 cm (1 foot), and using only a single 254 nm, a demo photo was taken with mineral rocks of varying fluorescence intensity.

Is mercury present in the bulbs, as it is in regular flourescent bulbs?
The bulbs do, in fact, contain a small amount of mercury, as stated on the label.
Is it possible to use both wavelengths at the same time, and are these bulbs simple to replace?
Yes, both wavelengths can be switched on at the same time, and the bulbs are simple to change.
Would it be possible to go agate hunting at night on a beach?
It's not a flashlight, and it doesn't light up distant objects. It would be sufficient if you crawled across the beach.

Two short-wave UV lamps aren't quite as powerful as two long-wave UV lamps. The original design, which included a short and long wave that both turned on at the same time, could be more appealing and productive.
I expected the light to be stronger, but it isn't

I liked having both long and short wave ultraviolet light in one hand-held device. br>To get the full effect, the lamp must be held very close.
