They're attached to my safety glasses. It is dependent on the loupes used. The light part is a little heavy, and it bothers me because it pulls my glasses down. I'll take care of it for the price.
Yes, if you're wearing prescription glasses, but not if you're wearing dental loupes.
Selected User Reviews For Denshine LED Dental Head Lamp, Portable Head Light Headlight, Headlamp for Dentist Surgical Medical Binocular Loupes
I'm a dental hygienist, and I'd like to leave a review that could be useful to other hygienists. I've been in practice for 25 years and have never used loupes because I was tired of adjusting the overhead light! This light is clipped to my own glasses and works perfectly! It's quite bright, but you can adjust it if you want it to be a little less so. I was worried that the on/off twisting knob (rather than the touch button worn by doctors) would bother me, but it's not at all. I regret not purchasing a light earlier. It is unbeatable in terms of price.
This is going to be a long review, but it will be accurate. First, let me state that this is an interim light for work, as I have a loupe light from my loupes company that broke and I needed a light while I was without mine. br>Secondly, there is one MAJOR issue: The light was installed backwards, with no way of adjusting it to illuminate your teeth rather than your face. By using a small screwdriver and flipping the mounting, I was able to make it work. br>The light is of a decent brightness, but it is far from ideal. It's not as bright as a professional light, but it's better than nothing at all. Other than brightness, there is no orange filter for composites if you're a dentist or a restorative dental hygienist (which I am). The battery, on the other hand, does not have a clip. It's not a deal breaker, but it's something to consider. I just added a stick clip to mine, and it works fine for now, but it was a pain to turn on and off when it got stuck deep in my pocket. I also keep my light cord on the arm of my loupes with a plastic piece from my original light. I can't imagine trying to use this without a way to keep the cord from getting caught in your glasses. br>However, if you've never used a light before or simply don't want to pay the price, it's a reasonable option. I'm going to keep mine in case something similar happens again; the extra money is worth it for my job. You can't beat the value for your money.
BUT, this one was defective, and I didn't realize it until I used it at work and discovered that the cord attached to the light was on the wrong side! I was very frustrated at work today. As a result, it does not fit properly on my glasses. My new pair (pink) and my old pair (black) are shown in the photo.
After only a week of use, the item broke. The light became inoperable due to a short in the plug. I received a full refund after returning the item. Although the prompt return and refund was a pleasant surprise, I do not recommend this product. Continue your search.
I'm hoping that $30 will be sufficient to see me through to retirement in a few months. It would have cost $425 to replace the existing light's battery pack.
I bought it to attach to my prescription glasses while performing veterinary dental procedures. It was exactly what I needed, but the lamp's mount was slightly crooked, causing the lamp to shine to the side of where I needed it. br>As soon as I informed the seller of my problem, they immediately sent me a replacement mount! Now everything is in place!.
magazines with relative ease It was unquestionably a wise investment - Our dental hygienist suggested it!!.
It's not worth the trouble. It's a waste of money to buy this product. Because there is no holder to keep it in your pocket, you'll have to turn it on and off with your gloved hand inside the pocket. br>I will never buy another useless product. a $ waist.
