The name of my company is It is Arts/H- It is owned by B Instrument & Controls It is a software program. Answering this question fully has a few "buts, ifs" depending on where the hood is located and what you will use it for. Your question can be answered either way, you will need either 4" or 6" diameter ductwork. There are several types of ducting found on clothes dryers galvanized, PVC, or flexible/bendable. Installing an internal firewall will be your next step The diameter of your ductwork should match the diameter of your line fan. You have to know how far your ductwork exits from your hood before you can establish the strength of your fan. That is where we come up against the "buts" and "ifs". In order to get the power from your internal resources, you need formulas Using a 200 CFM line fan at the front of your fume hood will help to improve airflow. CFM values are determined by the length of your ductwork, as well as the angles and curves of your ductwork. It is highly recommended you seek advice from a building maintenance manager or an HVAC expert if you intend to set this up in a public building or laboratory... H. The name of my company is It is Arts/H- It is owned by B Instrument & Controls It is a software program. Please do not. It is not possible for me to be MS- The hood you've described is not intended to be used in open fire situations, whether they are laboratory related or not. This would present a certain amount of danger. My hope is that this has answered your question, but if not, please contact me at Michael. Please email [email protected]. It is com...
Welcome to Belmont! My name is Mike and I work at Belmont University It is Arts/H- It is owned by B Instrument & Controls It is a software program. I, for one, think it's possible to direct the air flow flowing into the fume hood to an air purifier. When considering the purest air to be used, I would exercise caution with good quality HEPA filters. Due to the top of the hood being simply a hole, there is really no way to deflect the airflow underneath the hood unless you install some sort of air deflector inside the hood. In addition to I'm sitting on my In this way, the air coming from the purifier will be directed to the front of the cabinet in a smooth, laminar flow. You may also have to account for some of the forward moving laminar air to be deflected backwards into this hood due to the lip on the front/bottom. Please let me know how the experiment turns out if you try it! Please feel free to email me at [email protected] if I did not adequately answer your question...
I am Mike at SP BelArt. *br>In terms of chemical compatibility with acid digestion, the polyethylene body seems to be well-suited to the acid, but the acrylic shield should be kept clean as well. As a result of the acid, the plastic may be fogged or crazed. Fortunately, this can be prevented by cleaning it with soap + water or wiping it down afterwards. Neither the vents nor the fan are present on the hood These pieces of equipment are not for sale. *br>Each lab is unique and you should consult your building manager for details on how long you need ductwork as well as how much power you need for your lab. It would be necessary to have a line fan to move air through the hood and out to the exhaust. *br>I can provide more information regarding this. I can send you a copy by email if you want. My hope is that this has answered your question, but if not, please contact me at Michael. Please email [email protected]. It is com...

Last night, I received the unit. Designed as a single piece, it is incredibly thick, heavy, and durable. Considering the image provided by Amazon left much to the imagination, I have uploaded some pictures for comparison. In the box, the contents of the item were totally exposed due to heavy damage. I was lucky that it was double wrapped in tape and plastic. My plans are to install this unit next week, and I will report back to you on our experience.
The flow hood does exactly what it says and is priced extremely well.
