I enjoy using this piece of equipment very much! The life is so much easier with this! One complaint I have is that if you leave it overnight to break an emulsion, a few milliliters will leak out.
The price for these is excellent, and the quality is excellent. There are no defects in the glass, and the thickness is uniform As I'm so glad I found this deal, I've purchased a 250ml and might even pick up a smaller one as well. It would be great if they offered some with 24/40 bottom ends so you could use other glassware with them.
With this technique, I was able to reuse my Harvest Right freeze dryer's vacuum oil many times, keeping the oil clear at all times.
Once separated, the oil is sent through a cleaning filter efficiently and with no effort on my part, thereby reducing my oil consumption significantly.
