Hello, I'm going to try it with oil. After you've used it, how do you make sure it's completely clean?

My own was also used with oils. I just dismantled it as much as I could and washed it in warm soapy water. After that, I carefully propped it up in various positions to dry it completely. It took a long time for the clothes to dry, but they appeared to be in good condition.

The hole in the PTFE is not aligned with the hole in the glass

The PTFE stopcock appears to be perforated in the incorrect location, or it is being blocked by a piece of glass extrusion. When the PTFE hole is fully opened, only about a third of it is available for flow - For viscous liquids, this is a no-no. br>If quality checks are performed, this item appears to have failed to pass them.

StonyLab has a mixed quality

It's difficult to find a lab glass supplier that balances price and quality, and my experience with Stony Lab has been mixed. The quality of this 500ml Seperatory funnel was a little disappointing to me. I was planning on requesting a replacement at first, but I'm still undecided.
