The glass tip that extends into your flask is susceptible to breakage, which is the funnel's only flaw. br>Up inside the funnel's neck, the stem snapped off. It could have been caused by an unintentional bump, but if the tip of the funnel ended inside the funnel's protected neck, it would likely last longer; otherwise, it works fine.

I went bankrupt and lost $4,000 in the process

I was filtering $4,000 worth of product with this, so I turned the vac pump to get the vac moving a little faster, and the beaker shattered completely. The filter was not overly clogged because it was left intact. This is complete garbage; avoid it at all costs. I'm not going to use any more cheap Chinese glass.

It's as thick as any glass made in the United States. The setup as a whole is colossal. approximately 3 ft tall Shipping took a long time, but that's to be expected with such large items. Extremely fine fritted glass. br>br> Water will not flow through it unless vac pressure is applied. Every Büchner funnel down stem is made to protrude past the glass joint.
