Upon arrival, the first one had been damaged. Responses from the company were very fast, I received another one and put it in There is an issue with the pump on this unit. The vacuum is extremely flimsy, and it takes some skill to get it to hold a vacuum when using the device. I thought the vacuum might be interchangeable for my laboratory needs, but in truth, it's a bit too flimsy. I will now speak of I'll tell you about that later. It will be hard to break the flask and funnel, so they'll be handy to make experiments in.
In the event I had not missed the return window, I would have returned this set. On the flat part of the porcelain funnel, a glob of glaze coated the flat part while the filter paper would not sit correctly, allowing sediment to seep through. I also found the vacuum pump to be different than the one shown in the picture The release did not have a trigger, and it was very difficult to operate.
The vacuum filter is pretty good. The seal is maintained, the pressure is kept, and the assembly is simple.
