The vessel I have was made in India, and it appears to be of the highest quality borosilicate glass in perfect condition with a smooth, round mouth. The stopper has five stops. In my experience, the flask can withstand 30 inHg vacuum without any issues. When using a 600ml ceramic Büchner funnel, I can pull up to 25 inHg vacuum, and so can I recommend it!.
Currently, it is working well for me in terms of extraction. Using it with 25Hg vacuum, it’s working well. The glass is thicker than I thought, but it still seems to be working properly.
I have a flask that measures 5". It was just this evening that I received the flask. In good condition, it arrived. From what I read in another review, I thought a 3/8" barb connection would be used. There are 539 characters in this number. By the way, the 3/8" barbs on my other equipment have a diameter of 0 mm. The hardware store will have to come up with an adapter and a new hose for the job, so it's not a big deal. There is no need to worry about the #9 stoppers working.
This filter cup is for use with a 600ml top filter. It works fine, as long as you have a 1/2 barb for the tube. A thick material. The material is heavy duty, and the size is large enough. This filter cup is for use with a 600ml top filter. It works fine, as long as you have a 1/2 barb for the tube. It's a pretty thick piece of glass.
There seems to be no problem here and it appears to be solid- The barb diameter of the made gadget was 1/2", while the size of all the others is 3/8", so I had to return it because it was incompatible without.
There is so much unevenness in the filter that it really looks like it was made by someone by hand, so hard to squeeze the filters together. We are disappointed with the results.
I have used it many times and it holds up well to stress.
Beakers are great. I'm very happy with them. The answer I was looking for.
