Initially, there was a small crack on the bottom of the glass, and when they sent me a replacement it also had the same crack at the bottom, but when I put it in the pressure cooker, it did not make a difference and held up.

Using this product for my hobby of brewing with yeast and agar helps me improve my skills. While the glass of the media bottle is fine for autoclaving and pouring, there are a few imperfections in it. These are great for hobbyists, so I'll simply note their benefits.

I also use these in lieu of flasks for yeast cultures, because they store better, have an antimicrobe coating, and are easier to clean. Using little space and fitting my hands well, the drip ring is perfect for me.

Breakage of the product was discovered when it arrived. The company called and said it would ship a replacement but first issued a refund so they would not have to then increase the price.
