With the length this hose sock offers, it is very economical when compared with many other options on the market. Also, it is a full-length hose sock. In contrast to the true "sock" type covers that require threading the full length onto the hose, the zip-up covers have an excellent zipper that makes installation relatively easy. Despite the zipper being well hidden by the flap, it is well protected from damage. I put the Hose Sock on my 35 ft. pipe as soon as it arrived. There are hoses. There was nothing more to it than was stated in the advertisement. Some reviewers had commented about the bad zippers, the lack of a protective flap to protect the sofa from the zipper, and other issues with the product.
