The construction looked like the hose that came with my system, so I thought it was similar to vinyl over wire A flexible vinyl swivels at both ends, which makes it very soft. This is incorrect! I found it to be nice & reasonable Initially, it was sturdy. However, the hose ripped (tore) from the nozzle after less than 2 years of usage, and it does not seem to be able to be repaired. Although it cost more, I chose this one (despite the higher cost) because I believed the quality was superior to anything else I could find. It's sad to think that these batteries are only meant to last for a few years before they start to I have reached out to Broan now, and I will update this review as the situation develops.

18 years after we originally installed it (well duct-taped) the hose gave out beyond repair. Upon researching all possible replacements, I chose to buy the slightly more expensive OEM part rather than one of the knockoffs In the offing. The lightweight, long, crush-resistant design is lightweight, long, and strong. The cons are I have no idea why the handle is made of cheap plastic. The on/off switch has terrible contact design. It tangles so easily. I had a switch go out after I used it for a month I opened the handle and repaired it There is something wrong with how the contacts are designed. There are not many other options out there, but you can only buy if you know someone who can fix the on/off switch if you have someone handy.
