Questions & Answers
What a fantastic query! No, there are no tools required to remove the battery from this model. In fact, it has a battery release button that allows the battery to be easily ejected. ^Jecca
Unfortunately, this is not the case. It's a $130 add-on, which is the same price as a standalone option.
When I clean my small five-room house with two pets, the battery never runs out.
It is an additional cost.

I've had it for about 2 months, and the dirt canister has broken (the vacuum won't hold it up any longer). Samsung refused to replace it after I contacted them directly. I need to send it in, and they said it could take up to 90 days just to look at it and see if it can be fixed. I love Samsung products, so when my Dyson broke after a long time, I wanted to replace it with one from Samsung. After spending so much money over the course of two months, It's no longer functional. It's insane that they won't replace it even though it's supposed to be covered by warranty. I emailed it everything, including photographs.
This is the WORST stick vacuum you've ever seen! To begin with, it was delivered in a thousand pieces - It's a lot of work for not much pay! But that was something I could have lived with - The battery, on the other hand, lasted less than 10 minutes (from a FULL charge!). ) even when suction is set to medium! When I changed to high, it drained it in under 5 minutes! That's completely crazy! The main brush head, on the other hand, is entirely made of fabric rollers - Checking the facts - MUD can be created by even the tiniest drips of liquid on the floor that are rolled over and then rolled over any type of dirt. That's a disaster! Yes, I know you shouldn't drink too much of it, but that's unrealistic, especially if you have pets or children! The stand was bulky and unbalanced, and the first time I tried to pick it up off it, I nearly dropped it because it was so awkward! The suction was mediocre at best! And, finally, to empty the bin (IF you don't spend another $125 on the "cleaning station"), you have to touch the filter and turn it upside down, releasing dust/dirt into the air and onto your hands! *To be fair, I own a Dyson v11, and once you own a Dyson, it's difficult to fall in love with anything else! But I figured I'd give it a shot - Sadly enough!.
The Power Source! This is my first Samsung upright vacuum, aside from my PowerBot vacuum. I like a lot of things about it:br>br>- If you have enough space, the stand is nice. Chargers are attached to the wall on my other uprights. This is an extremely convenient method of obtaining the product. br>- I'm a huge fan of the on-demand services. turn off the switch I have to keep a button pressed in the handle of my other vacuums the entire time I vacuum. I'm not a baby, believe it or not. I have four of another brand and a big house, so it should last a few hours. br>- It's a small package with a lot of punch. light in weight and easy to maneuver
- The handle does not have a power cord input. My hand covers the input on my other vacuums, and I am constantly shocked, especially when vacuuming carpets. It's a static shock, but it's loud and obnoxious.
- The dirt canister can be accessed easily. Because it's near the opening rather than at the back of the canister, the mesh filter is simple to clean.
- It really sucks, but only on the highest setting.
- The vacuum does not fall over if I lean it against a wall. br>br>What I don't care for - As a result, it has two stars deducted from it:
- The battery life, oh, the battery life! Using the power attachment, cook for 14 minutes on high. That's a disaster. I have three dogs, one of whom is a Labrador Retriever who sheds a lot. The fur is not sucked up by the low or medium settings. So I get to vacuum for 14 minutes before charging the battery for more than THREE HOURS!
- One of the nice features is a separate battery charging station in the stand's base, which is great if you have $150 to spend on a new battery. 14 minutes more to go As a courtesy and an apology to their customers, Samsung should provide the extra battery for free!.
You are paying for the right to use the name. You're paying a premium for the Samsung 90's brand name. Is it powerful? Yes, but only for 30 actual vaccum minutes unless you're on the lowest power level, which is extremely weak. I'm not sure why it's even an option. The attachments are excellent, and the stand elevates it to the status of a showpiece. Is it worth the money?br>If you're a Samsung fanboy, I'd say yes. However, if you don't want to spend nearly the same amount of money, the Dyson has twice the power and even more battery life. This would be a good use if it was around $399.
okay. (so far). To get right to the point: When the Amazon rep was working to get the cheap, tiny part replaced, Samsung failed to ship the screw required for the charging stand, and in order to get a replacement, they needed to "create an account" for me with my name, email, phone, address, and other information. Worse, their service website won't let me see the exploded diagram ("page not found") so I can figure out what screw it is and get the specifications (so I can buy it myself at the hardware store). Even if I wanted to place an order through their website, guess what? I need to make an account (where did "Checkout as Guest" go?). br>br>Construction (8/10): It has a very 21st-century feel to it, with some clever innovations. Even when compared to lightweight corded models from five years ago, the weight is very reasonable. The click-through method In terms of spec (and/or construction - see below), lock connections appear to have a wide tolerance. Some of them correspond to a value of zero. Other connections are 3mm, 3mm, 3mm, and 3mm, respectively. 1mm - (For more information, see the section on construction). The vacuum "core" can be held in one of the stand's attachments, and it can also hold two additional attachments. The box, however, contains more than that. br>br>The power function, whether it was at MIN, MED, or MAX when powered-on, resets to the MED setting. off. While I'd prefer it remembered the location, this has no bearing on my review score (which I mention here for those who are picky - I'll admit it, I'm guilty of it on occasion). br>br>Construction (seven out of ten): A good mix of plastic and metal, with metal used only when absolutely necessary. Some of the joints are loose, and there is a small amount of air leakage, but it isn't bad (yet). br>br>Strength (6/10): Even if you have the best of circumstances, On MAX, it doesn't pick up what a decade-old brush does (Soft Action Brush on hardwood), and it doesn't pick up what a decade-old brush does (Soft Action Brush on hardwood). This is what an old corded vacuum cleaner does. br>br>Run time (nine out of ten): Nearly identical to the description. br>br>Value (2/10 as- if- if- if- if- if- if- if- if- if the screw had been included, it would have been a 6/10): _Cordless_ appliances are a luxury item, and when I spend good money on something, I expect good results, not just 'okay' customer "service. " br>br>It's a crying shame, because I've been a Samsung customer for decades, and my Samsung order history (just on Amazon) is pages long - including the phones I'm using right now. They'd rather dig in their heels over a five-cent screw than work with me (and Amazon). The Amazon Customer Service rep was sympathetic, and he offered me a discount to compensate for the time it would take me to drive to the hardware store and buy the screw (assuming I could guesstimate the size). br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I used a metal detector to search the box, the floor, and the debris; inspected all attachments, including the screw anchors that came with them - no joy.
