'Tidy Vacuum' was a third-party seller on Amazon and appears to have used bait and switch tactics. The generic part was inventoried and shipped by Amazon but it is a generic part numbered HR-59177047 that was substituted for the Hoover part number 59177047 I ordered from Amazon's third party seller, "Tidy Vacuum ". It deals with how HR-related issues are handled It is possible elsewhere to find a generic substitute for the 7650. In my case, I ordered from a third party Amazon seller claiming to be "Tidy Vacuum" since the listing clearly depicted the genuine Hoover blue part and described it as a genuine Hoover 59177047 part that I've ordered many times before. Original Hoover parts look like the one I have right now. I have the reserved genuine Hoover part, number 59177047, which is made up of a Hoover blue colored plastic frame. This frame supports a Blue Hoover The plastic I got has a gray rubber squeegee and is clear. The other thing I got was A few internet sellers have this generic part for sale, but they are upfront and tell you that it is a generic substitute made by a company not affiliated with Hoover, although a seller on the "auction site" also did this switch. I returned it. As a consumer, I do understand that, but I should have some kind of assurances that the goods I'm buying are those they claim they are. I tend to feel that third party sellers of any kind are to be avoided going forward based on this SNAFU.
There is a lot to be happy about The part was an exact fit for my H3000 Floormate machine. This part is labeled OEM, but it differs in color and design from original equipment manufacturers. On the original off my machine, the squeegee was blue in color and did not have ribs along its length. Honestly, their appearance is not all that different from all the other generics for sale online. I hope it'll last and perform as well as the originals.
