Questions & Answers

Where can I get these vacuum's bags?

My bags are purchased directly from Amazon! You can also get them from any vacuum shop. MM bags are compatible with this vacuum.

How long does the flexible hose have to be?

Eight and a half feet I'm including the parts that attach to the vacuum and the attachments that aren't flexible.

One of these exists in my collection. Is it just me, or does it seem hot? When I turn off the vacuum, it's extremely hot to the touch. ?

Yes, the sanitaires get hot from the motor, but this isn't a problem because it doesn't affect vacuuming. I had one for years and had no problems with it.

What makes these different from Eureka 3670? Although it appears to be identical, why is it $40 more?

Fantastic Vacuum for a Small Space
5/5

I did a lot of research and found that this is very similar to the Eureka Mighty Mite: it has the same motor amperage, uses the same bags, and looks nearly identical, but it comes with much higher-quality accessories. The metal wand that telescopically extends is fantastic. It makes it very simple to move from one surface to the next. The wand is substantial but not excessively so, and it is by far the best wand I have ever used on any vacuum. Also worth mentioning is the soft brush tool - I feel very safe using it on delicate surfaces such as wooden furniture because the bristles are very long. Also excellent is the multi-floor tool - One setting raises it an eighth of an inch, making it suitable for use on hard surfaces. The shoulder strap is also extremely useful - vacuuming ceilings without having to lug the canister around is a breeze. The suction on the vacuum is excellent. It sucked up a bunch of broken glass from a hidden corner under a cabinet, indicating that it has a lot of strength. My dog has a lot of long hair, and it picks it up really well. The only one I don't care for is the small plastic tool - It works, but dog hair gets stuck on the small brush, forcing me to remove it and suck the hair off (the larger multi-floor tool does not have this problem). Some hair gets stuck to it, but it appears to be more attractive). Because it does not have a rotating brush/head, I would not recommend it to someone who has large carpets or rugs. A HEPA filter is not included, but one can be purchased separately and snapped onto the end behind the motor - Although I do not have allergies, this is a useful feature in the event that I do.

A is either this or the Eureka Mighty Mite
5/5

Over the years, these have proven to be invaluable. When my previous one was taken by my ex, I decided to upgrade to the Sanitaire version, which included a horsehair bristle brush and other nicer attachments. Please, Eureka, stop downgrading the attachments - They're about as low-cost as it gets. And then there's the useless attachment holder. Irrelevant and cryptic. Having said that, the machine itself is appealing to me. In comparison to my previous yellow 3670 Mighty Mite, the Sanitaire version appears to have a thicker power cord and suction hose. The purchase was satisfactory to me.

With This Vacuum, There Will Be No Disappointment! Our Sanitaire SC3683 Canister Vacuum has exceeded our expectations
5/5

We've been using Eureka Mighty Mite vacuum cleaners for years, but our most recent Mighty Mites seemed to be made a little more cheaply. We had to deal with broken attachments. hose detaching in places it shouldn't; The switch for turning on and off was broken; They still sucked, but we were tired of reattaching parts and taping them back together. Then there was the Sanitaire, which was a much better vacuum! Attachments and hoses that are more durable However, if you're looking for a lighter vacuum, keep in mind that the wands on this vacuum are metal, which adds weight. I also use a floor brush similar to the EnviroCare Hardwood Floor Brush 1 and 1/4 with Soft Bristles Universal Vacuum Cleaner Attachment 10 Wide, which I already own, as a personal preference. My husband is perfectly content with the Sanitaire floor brush.

I would definitely buy from them again
3/5

EDIT: After 1 month of use, the suction power has decreased. Fortunately, the return deadline had passed. I'm hoping this one will last, as it dropped from four to one star. I'll update once I've had it for a while and it's proven to be durable. br>br>2nd Edit: I received a new one right away. Since then, it has performed admirably. br>br>I bought this for my 2200 square foot home, which has only hardwood and tile floors. I have two slobbery children, a slobbery husband, and two slobbery cats. Vacuuming is something I have to do every day. Advantages: br>br> br>It's low-cost. br>This bad boy has incredible suction power. br>Quick to arrive. br>br>Cons: br>Extremely inconvenient accessory storage. Design that is a pain to use. It is unable to stand on its own. Overall assessment: br>br> br>br>This is something I really enjoy. It easily reaches the edges and corners of the room. I used to have a Dyson, and while it did a good job, I wasn't happy with the huge dent it made in my wallet. It's a bit of a pain to put away, and it doesn't "sit" very well. In addition, the design of the accessory holder is inconvenient. However, I don't mind dealing with the awkwardness because my main concerns are the price and the suction power. It also comes with a crevasse tool, which some reviewers claimed it did not. It's attached to the "stand" section, so simply pull it out.

It's well-made and reasonably priced
5/5

All of our hardwood and laminate floors are vacuumed with this vacuum. We only have throw rugs, but they work well with everything. It's small, light, and rolls easily. My wife would have preferred a retractable cord, but at this price, it's hard to beat. Canister vacuum cleaners have been used in the past. In the past, I've used shop vacs, and this one outperforms them all in terms of maneuverability. Suction is excellent. For pet hair, it works well. So far, everything seems to be going well. I'd purchase it again.

I needed the blower function, so it was a nice compact vacuum
4/5

This vacuum is lightweight and easy to maneuver, with high-quality components. However, I was in desperate need of the blower, so I returned it. br>br>You can use the hose on the exhaust end to create a "blower" effect, similar to the old canisters. However, it's only a light breeze, and it's not strong enough to blow dust out of crevices. This has been done on purpose. Much of the exhaust is diverted through vents behind the wheels and a hose connection bypass. I assume they did this to prevent the motor from overheating, but a thermal bypass switch could have accomplished the same goal more effectively. br>br>The manufacturer (Sanitaire/Bissell) was quick to respond and confirmed that the blower function is secondary and that I should return the vacuum if it is required.

Lightweight enough to carry, climb, and reach even the most remote vac locations
4/5

Because it has such strong suction, I can't use it on the floor or rug with the control closed because it's difficult to push. Despite its light weight, I wish the long wand was a little lighter because that's what I need to hold in the air to reach high corners on the ceiling. Even so, it's still a lot lighter than a full-size canister. I'm not disappointed with the quality, as some reviewers claimed, because it can't be compared to an expensive full-size machine; it's a great vac to grab and take to the car or clean up quick messes without dragging out the larger machine; I'm enjoying the easy reach to places I ignore vacuuming because of the difficulty lugging the large canister around; and I'm enjoying the easy reach to places I ignore vacuuming because of the difficulty lugging the large canister around The canister and its power nose are still required for large areas and rugs, respectively.
