I'm not sure, but it removed a lot of other stains and made the carpet look brand new (or at least match the rest of the carpet). It's not a bad idea to give it a shot.
On a herringbone-colored couch, I used it to remove red lipstick. I used spot Shot, and it was fantastic.
I've tried it on ink, and while it helps, it doesn't completely remove it. I would strongly advise using good old hairspray! Hairspray has been a go-to product for a long time. Any type of ink stain can be removed with this method. First, test it on a small area; the hairspray will help break down the ink, and then you can remove it with something else. Best of luck!
It does say on the can to avoid contact with painted, stained, or finished surfaces, including wood floors, so I suppose it could affect oil-based paint in some way. It works well on all of the stains I've tried it on. Stains from pets, grease spatters on my shirt, and so on.

When there is an accident, I place paper towels on the floor to absorb the moisture; After that, squirt the area with water and cover it with paper towels. I press and rotate the towel with my foot, and I keep changing the towel until it is dry. I now pick up the poo with toilet paper and flush it if the accident is poo. I repeat the procedure described above until the stain is gone. The stain is completely gone, though it may take a little longer. It can be used to remove any type of stain. It's an excellent product, and if you have carpet in your home as well as pets, this is a must-have item.
When I was visiting a friend with three children and a beige carpet, she showed me how this stuff worked (and I spilled red wine on her beige carpet!). What a nightmare! ) and then BOOM! I was taken aback! It was as if there had never been any wine! br>br>I ordered it myself and put it to use as soon as I got a dog who quickly made himself known with his muddy paws around my white/cream/beige furniture. This stuff works like a charm. I even used it on my antique Persian carpet, and it had no negative effects on the fabric! The most incredible application of this was when I sprayed it all over *old* stains on another rug that I'd just hidden under furniture for so long because I didn't think it was worth the money to have professionally cleaned. But what about this mystical foam? Voila. GONE ARE THE STAIN. Seriously, this is something that should be in every home.
We got new carpet about 18 years ago, and when it was installed, it appeared to be lighter than the sample I'd shown, at least that's what I thought. I've been using it ever since because my husband is a mechanic and our carpets are a nightmare. We also have four cats. If I could, I'd give it a perfect score of 100.
I asked a friend to test it just to be sure, and he discovered that it did not work. I was disappointed that it did not behave as expected based on the advertisements. It was a waste of time when I tried it as a spot cleaner on laundry as suggested.
Spot Shot, especially for laundry stains, is a must if you have pets or small children. Some stubborn stains may require more than one application and some scrubbing, but I have yet to come across a stain that Spot Shot couldn't remove. When Target stopped carrying it in stores, I was devastated, and I desperately looked for it in multiple stores. I'm glad Target stopped carrying it because buying it in bulk on Amazon works out to be less expensive per can! 10/10, I'll be a repeat customer for the rest of my life!.
I've been using this product since the 1980s, when the only way to get it was to order it from Woman's Day magazine; it's been a staple in my home ever since, and it's now available in stores like Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, and, of course, online. It removes stains that other stain removers can't even touch. All you need is a light spritz. Allow for a minute before blotting with a white paper towel. That concludes our discussion. Perhaps you'll require a different app. Vacuuming and rubbing are not allowed. It came in handy when a whole plate of ziti fell on my off white Berber rug, as well as dealing with stains caused by my children, such as markers and juice, over the years. It's nice to have a product that does what it says every now and then.
There is a typical training period, just like with animals. As luck would have it, the puppy was able to gain access to the only carpeted room in the house. Although I cleaned up the mess (understandably), residue remained on our white carpet (to avoid being graphic). I sprayed the spots, and the next morning they were completely gone. Set the Roomba in the area just to make sure it's spotless. Now we're back in the media room, which is spotless and heavily guarded.
I have a couple at home and one at my mother's house, who is 98 years old. She has a habit of spilling coffee on her carpet, which she is unable to clean. All I have to do now is spray it on, wait a few minutes, and scrub the stains away with a dry cleaning rag. This is a fantastic product that I would strongly recommend.
