What do they make it of?

Just buy it! The state of South Carolina 29697*br>Just buy it! Your decision will be a wise one! The experience has been so rewarding. My husband and I are thinking about getting a second one for the This product has been in my bag every day since it arrived. Fireplaces are a joy to use in my home, and I have two of them.

Is it safe to plug it in in an area where there are also other devices connected at 10amps?

On some circuits, you may have only a few breakers with a capacity of 20 amps, although the majority of your breakers are 15 amps. The American standard is to have a kitchen in the living room and a dining room. In the case that your amps exceed 15-especially since this is a 10-amp device, of course it will blow a circuit breaker. There is no uncertainty in mathematics. You should ignore anyone who tries to tell you otherwise. Having said that, it is not a drawback of the vacuum. It will take a lot of current to run a powerful vacuum. You asked a question that some of the other people seem to be answering in a different way. What motivates them to do that is an enigma to me. You just have to make sure that you don't have 5 amps or more of power draw on the same circuit at the same time. Small-sized appliances work fine. The use of power items is fine- The only thing missing is a large motor or heater. One amp is roughly the power drawn by a 55-inch Samsung 4K TV, which is 109 watts. A heater plugged into an electric current will draw around 13

Is it possible to buy motor brushes for this vacuum?

Regardless of what the negative reviews say, don't take them seriously
5/5

Buying it is a great idea! Even after reading some of the reviews, I decided to give it a try, and after a couple of months of using it weekly, I'm very satisfied with the results. It's amazing how much power you have. Although some people have said that the motor stopped working for them, this is actually a thermal protection feature designed to prevent the motor from overheating. As soon as the motor has cooled down, you can use it It only happens when using vacuum attachments that restrict air flow to the motor for long periods of time or when vacuuming warm Ash because the motor gets its air from the vacuum hose so the warmer the air the faster the motor will get hot and set off You should not be alarmed by this and you're welcome that the vacuum has this feature since it will enable it to last for a longer time.

A quality product is wonderful! Clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to fireplace inserts
3/5

A quality product is wonderful! He maintains the fireplace insert and Big Green Egg grill with great knowledge and skill. A brief update My motor went out less than a dozen times after owning this for a couple years. A refurbished version of the unit was sent to me by the company after I contacted them. The motor housing I received was grossly used with sheet rock dust clinging to the motor. The client's representative said that the motor was refurbished, and the photos the company sent to me confirmed that. I wouldn't recommend Powersmith as a product or service because their customer service is terrible.

After a few uses, the device has failed
3/5

The app has been used ten times or so. My system failed within a couple of months here in San Diego County. In terms of its operation, it has been excellent. A well-designed filter kept the ash in the tank and prevented ash from shooting out of the exhaust. This is basically a shop vac that comes with a well-designed filter and a nice My today's task was to vacuum the fireplace with a clean filter and an empty tank. As soon as 10 seconds passed, the suction began to fall. Unplugging the unit, verifying the tank was empty, cleaning the filter, and running a broom handle through the hose to clean out any debris I did not see cleared anything out of the hose that was stuck. This is my second attempt at A restart was performed after the components were assembled. This time, too, the unit's suction was weak, so it turned off on its own. Upon calling Amazon for a refund, they were fantastic, and processed my refund right away. This fan mechanism is poorly designed, and the wiring that connects the fan to the cord is thin and unprotected from heat. It appears the fan overheated and burned the wiring, causing a short. The plastic underneath the fan and the wires connecting it were both In spite of the obvious care they have taken with the finish and the filtering, the electronics are really poor. There's a possibility that the exhaust filter got blocked, causing the unit to overheat. Only the exhaust filter can be accessed, so I doubt the fan is the culprit. The design of the site is poor.

It may just be your PowerSmith vacuum that needs to be repaired
4/5

It may just be your PowerSmith vacuum that needs to be repaired. My first one stopped working suddenly after several years of use, so I just bought my SECOND one of these a few days ago. After reading other reviews that also stated their unit had stopped working suddenly, just like mine, I decided to get another PowerSmith instead of the more expensive USA-made model. This was about three times the cost and I'd seen similar "my unit died" reviews on those. As for the old wireless router, I figured I would check the top to see if something simple was wrong before I threw it away. You will be surprised to find out that the electrical connectors of the motor are simply "slide on clips", and when wiggled both were I took out my pliers, squeezed them on the attachment prong and plugged it in, and it now works. There must be a lot of reviews about it dying suddenly when it was just a loose connection. The screws are just four and checking things out is no problem. In any case, I will probably keep the replacement as a back up. Please share this with others, in case it's helpful.

Ashes can be vacuumed with the Power Smith A motor that I bought in 2014 failed after being used about 20 times
3/5

No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it running Early December 2016 was the date when this happened. The last time I contacted Power Smith was about mid-March This is what I wrote to you in December to explain my problem to you. Despite waiting for almost two weeks, I have not yet received a response from the company. I was promised they would get back to me, but they have not. A number of times, as I used the motor, the motor seemed to smell like it was burning. It got hot, so I stopped using it for a while. Same thing happened again until eventually I was unable to start it. The machine is good, but the motor is bad.

This is trash
3/5

I worked just ONE time. I mean that literally. The customer service was contacted THREE times, I went straight through to voicemail, and left THREE messages, but I still did not receive a Back in March, I purchased the item for the winter that was coming up. My garage sat unused for a few weeks so I handed over the key to my son. After opening the box, plugging in and trying it one time, it did not work a second time. Like I said, the manufacturer was unresponsive and Amazon was of no assistance. They offered me 10% off the price of the vacuum if I kept it. Can I get a broken vacuum for free? Lastly, I asked for a supervisor who basically told me, "oh well", you need to contact the manufacturer, AFTER I explained to the rep and to the manufacturer that I had attempted to contact the manufacturer Due to the service not taking care of their customers, our family will have to cancel our Prime memberships.

There was a plastic bottom that broke within 2 minutes of trying it out
3/5

It's a piece of junk. This has just been assembled for the holiday season after I unpacked it this morning. During that time, I thoroughly read the manual and, when I finally turned it on, tried it to make sure it was After I have used and turned off the vacuum for a minute, I find a piece of plastic next to it. Astonished, I found myself in a precarious position. I discovered that the plastic bottom of the vac has broken with a piece next to it also appearing to be How are you? What a surprise! Could this be a piece of plastic junk? Is that what I read somewhere? It turns out, after a lot of research, reading, and putting it all together, that this is indeed the case! I have attached a picture of the broken plastic part with the part that came from it There is another piece of plastic about to pop off to the right of that, so take a close look! There are many things to be disappointed about. My pellet stove should be ready for use by Christmas, so I thought I'd be ready to clean it. NOT AT ALL. Since then, I had to start over and was unable to use the stove during the holidays.
