While the machine does produce an odor, one that smells like machinery, I have had asthma and allergies most of my life, but I like this machine because it does not smell like dust the day after you vacuumed. As you can see, I tried the one from Amazon and it works fine, the only smell I notice is like metal and grease, but there is no problem returning dust to the atmosphere. This is the best vacuum of the three I've used so far I'm glad to be done with this! My bag of vacuum cleaners just went in. I used them to vacuum the room thoroughly I had no trouble assembling the machine. To my surprise, I was anticipating a mini vacuum but it turns out it is a full-sized vacuum. As far as the filter arrangement is concerned, it is a great design, as it will be very easy to clean. I was completely oblivious to any bad smells when using it or off-gassing, and I was able to vacuum without needing to wear a dust mask for the first time in a long time. My vacuum is back to having a bag rather than bagless Vac and it feels much cleaner in terms of not releasing tons of dust as I empty it every time. I feel so much better now. This floor wand and attachments are nimble and made the process of getting through the maze of plant stand legs much easier. While it was large enough to get through the wide open areas without much difficulty, it wasn't too big There was no problem with cat litter or hair. I was able to get it with one pass. vinyl floor brush worked great on my vinyl floors, and the carpet brush was great on the medium pile carpet in my bedroom. It was amazing how much dust it collected on all of my electronic gear, my chairs, and even my sweaters - thanks so much for the upholstery brush! Nothing to worry about! In addition, it doesn't make a lot of noise. This is a manageable level of decibels. 'Br>The only criticism is that the canister maneuverability can be clunky and can bog down on carpet or cord. There definitely needs to be a design improvement there to allow for more freedom of movement. This has been the best vacuum I've owned in the past few years, I have to admit. Where are you?!? I've Owned Several Canister Vacuums, but this one is the best It is a type of car I have owned several times. In the first place, I never write reviews because I am concerned that someone might find them inaccurate based on their own experiences, but this vacuum is SO wonderful that I couldn't resist writing one. Although I had never heard of the Atrix brand before, I did some research and found out they were a commercial brand (commercial to me means quality and built to last). In the past, I have owned multiple canister vacuums from known brands that either were too noisy, too heavy, or poorly constructed. The Atrix I am holding is NOT one of them. The products we use for our house cleaning business outperform others in terms of quality, reliability, and ease of use, both of which we find impressive. We vacuum around 1,300 homes per year with our Atrix vacuum. I like the durability as well as the reliability of the pump. The bags and double filtration system is simply outstanding.
There are few vacuum cleaners that can compete with this one. I like it, but it's not nearly as good as an old Electrolux or a eureka mighty mite from days gone by. My very first use of this vacuum caused it to break. After pulling the hose completely out from the black plastic piece that connects to the brush or nozzle you choose to attach to the end, you'll have a big mess on the ground. Its barely glued on with a few drops of cheap glue, but it easily peeled I just couldn't use it over a rug. Don't buy this vacuum - it's a waste of money. If you spend $100, you're just wasting it.
My basement needs to be cleaned, so I bought this vacuum. My biggest problem with shop vacuums is that they always have their own minds when I try to maneuver them. My concrete floor can be cleaned up with this small vacuum with enough power to lift screws, nails, rocks, etc. The vacuum I own from Sears is better than this one.
