I find using this broom to be quite relaxing. I like the soothing effect of the sweeping. It has been 3 months since I purchased these brooms and they are still excellent. collect debris, are easy to sweep under and around anything because the straw is pliable, and their shape can be customized to fit any space. You won't find this in a plastic bag, so the price is right. I do not worry about them sheding a little bit, though they do a little bit occasionally. My first experience with it also left me with an odd smell. I agree, but I'm okay with that! I noticed that the light was no longer there There is only one really complaint I have, and that is the weight. It was quite heavy while doing the whole house. I always sweep our floors before vacuuming them, and after doing it all my wrist is tired! I also had to tape around the handle because it bent easily, it bends, and oh boy, it kept on bending so I had to put tape around it. It's a pretty good price for 3 brooms overall. I don't have to go to my closest Asian store to get one, nor do I have to drive an hour to get.
Despite their low quality in every way possible, these brooms will not last long. A Vietnamese friend gave me one that we bought together and it was by far better quality than theirs. There is a lot of yellow dust behind the strides after they come out. As I was told I needed to soak it in water to help my dust, I did it, but it still leaves yellow dust all over the place. These are the brooms I always use to sweep because I always use this type. There is a problem with these brooms (and I know I have tried each of them trying to find a good one) that leaves more dirt than I picked up. That was a total waste of money and I now have to search for.
