There's no way to tell since I ordered 2 and they both arrived broken and unused.
There must be something wrong with the towels' weight. I have trouble with towels that rip when I have a lot of them. I am not able to rip this towel when I have fewer towels. Here's what I hope will help you.
There is a curve in the bottom where the towels are dispensed, making it impossible to place flat on the countertop. Unlike other dispensers, there will be no top on the paper towel dispenser, so you will need to flip it for use. In other words, if it is near the sink, yes it can be placed on the counter if you don't mind wet towels on top.

After reading the reviews, I guess I should have read them before purchasing. Its sleek design drew me in so instantly that I didn't stop to think about it after I looked at it. In light of the fact that I had already cut holes in my wall and that this does not look too bad, I guess I'll Pulling paper towels out of a machine can't be done with one hand, as you will need to hold the towel on both ends in order to prevent it from tearing while it is being pulled. If the paper does not have a closure, another option would be to remove it from the top. I wish the paper would come out smoother, as this would be an amazing product. It's a pity, but it would be perfect.

In the end, we all end up just taking them out of the top, because pulling paper towels out of the bottom is too difficult. The ease with which it attaches to many things, and visitors and family can clearly see it, are two of its very best features. I've put a couple of small stickers on each of them to give it a bit of personality that matches the Furthermore, I like that it can also be placed against the wall on the counter, so it's flexible.
