No, I don't believe that's the case. They're meant to be hung on peg board, but there are two small holes on the back for screwing them to a wall or door. I suppose you could put the hook through the basket and use it that way if you used a command strip with a hook. However, I do not recommend that you use them in this manner.

Because I couldn't find anything else that met my Holland Lop's needs, I ordered this to use as a hay feeder. He refused to eat from the traditional hay feeders, and I wasted a lot of hay by scattering it across his cage's floor. This keeps the majority of the hay in one place, and he eats from it, so I'm happy.
It was ideal for my needs (vegetable storage - mount on the wall). It's very sturdy, and it's simple to install.
These baskets are both visually appealing and functional. These are true space savers that don't look out of place. They work with a variety of styles, including contemporary, traditional, industrial, and vintage. They're mounted to the side of my kitchen cabinets and take up very little room.
This basket looks great when hung on standard 1/4-inch pegboard because the back of the basket sits flush against the board. br>br>The only issue I have is not with this product specifically, but rather with Spectrum Diversified's basket offerings in general. I left a very similar review on the Spectrum Diversified 16x4x4 version to hopefully warn others so they don't have to try as many different versions as I did. Although the company sells at least four different pegboard baskets, none of them are designed to complement one another. I purchased three different types of baskets from them, and none of them fit on the board in the same way, so the bottoms didn't line up, resulting in a jumbled-up appearance. I ended up returning two of them and ordering four of the 10x5x7 because that size was the best fit for my needs. This basket is lovely on its own, and I'm sure they'd work well together if you needed more, but I don't recommend mixing and matching the various sizes offered by this company.
ten inches and two inches In my (literally) tiny house, I have 15" of these baskets for fruits, vegetables, and bread. They were simple to install and are extremely safe. I positioned them above my countertop, high enough for my toaster or other similar items to fit beneath, and in a deep corner where they would be less intrusive to the counter. These have made a huge difference in terms of freeing up counter space, and the price was very reasonable. I wish I could have removed the peg board hooks, but they were also quite sturdy, so I left them in place and haven't noticed them since. When Hubby and I eventually build a house, I plan to put these behind the pantry door for the same reason. This is not a biased review; I paid full price and bought it because I needed it.

BE AWARE MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MAKE THE SAME ERROR I DID! The image depicted is false. This will not work on a pegboard. WHEN THERE IS A SCREW UP, IT IS NOT EASY TO INSTALL. I should have paid attention to the reviews and realized what was going on. The hooks are on the wrong side, as others have pointed out. Personally, I'm tired of paying for garbage that, after so many negative reviews, should have been recalled or noted as a mistake. Apparently, we must read all of the reviews before making a purchase? Because this is allowed to be a continuing problem, I now have more returns than keeps this year. This isn't the only place where it's happening.
